"C'mon, shithead, I ain't got all day!" Aidan remarked. "You're actin' real slow for such a fast guy!"

"Oh, you really want it, huh?" the Night Hunter responded.

"Do not say it like that, please do not say it like that." Aidan said with disgust. The two brawlers were fighting in an isolated, grassy field. Aidan had his guard up, waiting for the Night Hunter to strike. The Night Hunter was hesitating, however, as his options for an approach were limited. Aidan had set ablaze the field, and two raging infernos were on both of their sides, leaving only a single lane of grass open. Aidan chuckled.

"What are you laughing for?!"

"You, dumbass. C'mon now, I need to get this over with soon." Aidan taunted.

"Asshole!" the Night Hunter responded. "I'm not going over there, you'll just counter me!"

"Well, you're right about that, but it a better option than just stayin' there." Aidan mocked as he snapped his finger, sparks flung around his arm, and his hair flared. With a swelling rush of heat, another inferno came in like a wave, fast and sudden. The Night Hunter used his powers over momentum to slow the inferno tsunami, but a chain raddled around his leg.

"Oh no." he commented as Aidan dragged him into the fire. As the Night Hunter began to burn in the horrible fire, Aidan jumped him, slamming his fist right into the Night Hunter's gut and grabbing him by the collar. The boy socked the man multiple times before snapping his fingers again, causing a sudden explosion of flames on the Night Hunter.

But, with a newfound power, the Night Hunter snapped himself from Aidan's grasp and kicked with all his might. Aidan dodged the attack, but the rushing wave of air caused all of Aidan's flames to be put out.

"Now that the playing field's even, how about I start landing some-" the Night Hunter's line was cut short by Aidan slamming his face, which was followed by a flash of flames afterwards. Aidan delivered multiple quick blows in succession into the man before the Night Hunter struck back, kicking at Aidan. Aidan, however, deflected the kick away from him and swept the Night Hunter's leg out from under him.

In the same motion, with a swirling flame around him building up, Aidan raised his leg into the sky and slammed it down into the man, causing the ground under them to crack for miles.

With a defeated gasp for air, the Night Hunter succumbed to his vast injuries, and fell unconscious. With that, Aidan opened his eyes to his room within DDio's manor, viewing the rising sun's light illuminate his room. His new, albeit temporary coat, hanging in the corner.

"So, why did you dream yourself beating up that assassin guy?" Grim teasingly asked.

"It's called image trainin', Grim, people from my world do it all the time to prepare themselves for fights and crap." Aidan responded as he got off his bed and grabbed his coat.

"So, you're saying you think you can beat him, now?"

"I'm sayin' I'll be more used to his moves next time, and in combination with new powers, I'll have a much better shot than last time." Aidan put on his coat. "I doubt that I saw all he can do though, so I'll still have to be alert durin' a fight with him." Aidan paused. "Though, now that I think of it, his fightin' style, it's familiar..." Aidan thought to himself as Grim walked up to him in his mind and put her arm around his shoulder.

"Ah, Aidan, my beloved child and student, you are so great!" Grim teased.

"You're not even real and I can still smell you." Aidan commented.

"We'll worry about that when you deal with some emotional baggage later, but that's, well, for later. Right now, I want to talk to you about what you did in that dream, fire wise. I can't comment on your fisticuffs."
