Dominick dashed through the streets of the Rockefeller Single, chasing the truck. Riding the power lines, he approached the truck as fast as he could, and yet, the truck moved faster. The truck sped through the streets, through intersections and red lights. Dominick knew that, even if he couldn't find the delirium, he still had to stop this insane driver before they hurt anyone on the road. He zapped out of the lines and shot down the road, zipping between cars until he reached the doors of the truck. He ripped them open, revealing a rather large gun pointed straight towards him.

"...is that a cannon?" Dominick asked as a large blast knocked him back. He went flying back down the street, tumbling and rolling as cars swerved to avoid him. They swiveled around the road, almost colliding with one another, if not for Dominick quickly getting back on his feet and zapping around the road, pushing cars back into line and making sure no one gets hurt. Reassessing the situation, Dominick looked at the truck, getting farther and farther away. He dashed back towards the truck, a streak of lightning following behind him. With speeds greater than a speeding bullet, Dominick quickly caught up with the truck.

The men inside the truck aimed the odd cannon back at him, lights flickering on the sides of the gun. As another shockwave blasted through, ripping the road apart, Dominick jumped over it and began to rain down gunfire at the cannon. He shot at it with a volley of electric shots, but the men in the truck shuffled forward with odd, dark shields that blocked his attack. Thinking fast, Dominick slammed down onto the top of the truck and began to pepper it with blast after blast, only for the energy to bounce off and dissipate. Standing there in confusion, Dominick looked at the truck and decided to run right into the back. He grabbed the edge of the roof of the truck and swung into open doors at the back, only to get blasted away again.

"Really thought that was gonna be different this time." Dominick lamented as he flipped in the air and looked down at his target. "I can't break the truck, and they knock me away when I try to get in. I think I got an idea." he zapped onto the side of a building and began charging up his gun. Lightning sparking down the barrel, pulsing energy lining up on the side of the gun, and a whirring static building up in the air. Dominick aimed his weapon at the truck. He pulled the trigger.

A bright streak of electricity cut through the street in front of the truck, launching it into the air and destroying a part of the road. Dominick launched himself at the airborne truck, using the chaos he created to finally get close. Hanging onto the back of the truck, he introduced himself in an electric style. He shot the cannon with a bolt of lightning, shattering it instantly. A large shockwave rippled through the truck, blasting from the destroyed cannon, and blasting the truck down into the road. The men inside were knocked back, slamming into the truck's walls, and their shields slamming into them. They slid to the bed of the truck, stunned and in pain.

Seeing his chance, Dominick shot into the back of the truck and aimed his gun at the men. He fired twice, blasting an electric net upon the men, and trapping them in the back of the truck. The hero spotted a window in the back, allowing him to see the driver seat. He opened it and stuck his head through.

"Yo, great parking job." he greeted the driver. "Some of the greatest New York parking I've ever see- What is that?" Dominick looked down the barrel of another shock cannon. "Oh... not again." A rippling roar of a shockwave blasted from the driver seat of the truck, sending both Dominick and the trapped men flying out of the truck. Thinking fast, Dominick shot another net and hung the two men on a street light. He flipped through the air and slid across the asphalt road, pulling back the receiver of his gun. Another shockwave blasted out of the truck, and another, and another. The roof of the truck flew into the air as a figure leaped up into the sky. Blasting a shockwave upwards to propel themselves downward.

Long, dark silver hair flowed in the wind as the driver removed their tactical gear. Discarding her security gear, she revealed the gauntlet shock cannons attached to her arms. Dominick aimed his gun at her.

"Now lady, we don't have to do this. Just give me the delirium and we can let this go-" a bellowing shockwave interrupted Dominick as it blew through the air. He zapped around it and placed his index and pinkie fingers on the woman's side. "Taser Fingers." Dominick called out as a surge of electricity bounced between his two fingers and into the woman's side, shocking her greatly. Stuttering and shocked, the woman placed the gauntlet on Dominick's chest and let a shockwave blast through him. He wasn't knocked back by the blast, instead, it reverberated in his body, echoing through his bones and organs.

Dominick bled from his mouth as the woman, still dealing with the electric shock, limped away. As she turned, Dominick spotted a vial of blue, almost lava-like ooze on the woman's back, hooked up to her gauntlets with a pulsing blue tube of energy that creeped up her shoulders and down her arms.

"Found it." Dominick said to himself, coughing up blood. He wiped the blood off his chin and bolted forward. The woman quickly turned and aimed her gauntlet upwards, but Dominick shoved it back down and placed his gun on the woman's chin. She unleashed a shockwave, sending herself upwards and knocking Dominick away. As Dominick flowed back through the air again, he simply thought to himself.

Why does every supervillain run away when they know they're gonna get caught? And why does she keep knocking me into the air? It's getting annoying.

He bolted through the sky, turning into pure energy and following the woman. The woman blasted shockwave after shockwave, propelling herself forward and destroying the road behind her. With Dominick on her tail, she shot herself across the rooftops of the Rockefeller Single.

"Come on, I did a chase through these rooftops last night!" Dominick shouted as he zapped after her. Running through the afternoon sky, the two raced across the rooftops. They exchanged blows, shooting at each other with electricity and shockwaves bouncing around the streets. The woman shot down the road bridge that hung over the lower streets, zooming past cars as Dominick fired at her. She weaved by shots, blasting cars up into the air and shooting them at Dominick. He jumped into the air and twirled around the car, covering it in an electric net and brought it to the ground. After landing, he quickly bolted back after the woman.

As he dashed through the street, several more cars flew into the air, like a deck of cards shuffled horribly. Voltaic bullets zapped through the sky, colliding with the cars and encasing them in energy nets. Dominick jumped up and landed on car after car, grabbing onto the nets and getting them back to the ground safely. As he saved one car, another two were launched into the air, forcing Dominick to act quicker. Faster and faster, lightning sparked down the street, bolts erupting from power poles to signs in the ground. The street looked like it had turned into an erupting power plant as Dominick shot down the street, undoing the chaos in the blink of an eye.

Seeing him move that fast, the woman plunged her gauntlets into the road, and rose a wave of asphalt that ripped through the street behind her.

"How did she even- What the-" Dominick stammered watching the tsunami of dried tar fly towards him. He looked down at his gun, thinking how he could stop this erupting wave of asphalt. An idea came across his mind, remembering the armor that Aidan and Sam wore. He slammed the side of his gun, causing the barrel to turn upwards, straightening out. He pulled the trigger, unleashing a blade of electric energy. "Yeah, that should work."

He jumped into the air and spun, slicing the road, and disconnecting it from the wave, causing it to stop in its tracks right before him. As quickly as he cut the road, Dominick returned his weapon to gun form and blasted another electrifying shot down the roadway, at the fleeing woman. She spun in the air and blasted a shockwave at the bullet, but it bounced under her and ricocheted off the street, zooming by her and exploding into another electric net. Her shockwave blast flung her into the net, which wrapped around her, trapping her.

Dominick walked next to the woman as sirens quickly approached the scene. He shot the gauntlets off her hands and ripped the delirium off her back.

"It was a fun ride, but it's no shock to see who won." he turned away and bolted out of the area, returning back to the center of the Rockefeller Single.
