As Dominick bolted off after the delirium, and Aidan blasted after Bright Lite, Sam sat by herself, atop a building next to the large stone that marked the center of the Rockefeller Single.

"The Sword in the Stone, huh?" Sam looked down at the rock as she got up and started to spin a web in her hands. "There's something Drew-related under it, according to Aidan." she threw a web lasso across the rooftops. "When Nicole said that he has a special sense for that guy, I didn't think she meant it literally." Sam swiftly made a large web hanging over the stone, and began work on another web. "Then again, she means everything literally."

After setting up a large collection of webs, Sam sat by herself, looking up into the sky. She was bored, but someone had to guard the stone, and she was the best suited for it. As she pondered what to do while waiting for the boys, she felt a tingle on a web nearby, one on the ground in an alleyway hidden from sight.

"Finally, something fun." she said to herself as she sank into a pile of spiders that shuffled their way down the web. Quietly crawling down the walls of the alleyway, she reformed on a dark wall and looked down upon the disturbance. A woman clad in light lavenders and flowing ribbons stood on Sam's web. Her striking white hair and pale skin caught Sam's attention. Looking down at the woman, she thought to herself.

Where have I seen this before?

Though, her thoughts were cut short when the woman suddenly appeared right in Sam's face. She dashed back up the wall and on top of the building in fear.

"Why are you running?" the pale woman asked from behind Sam. "Am I that scary to you?"

"Who are you?" Sam dashed back again. "How did you do that?"

The woman sighed.

"I know she told you." the woman responded. "That Pearl of yours is quite cautious of me." the woman pulled out an ivory knife, flipping it in between her fingers whilst looking away in boredom. "It seems that you can't quite place it, though. It's on the tip of your tongue, come on, just think about it."

A single bead of sweat dripped down Sam's cheek, and down her mask.

"An... Angelina... Haven..." Sam looked the woman dead in the eyes, shaking in fear.

"There you go!" Angelina shouted. "You're correct! Right on the mark!" she bowed. "The Pale Lady, at your service~" she twirled her knife some more as she walked towards Sam. "I've been sent here on some business. You see, I heard there was someone interfering with my brother's plan to test mutated Orbs on mortal bodies. You wouldn't happen to know how that was, would you, council bug?" Angelina leaned right next to Sam's ear. Sam stood there in silence, before finally answering.

"N-No, ma'am." Sam couldn't move. Her knees buckled, and her arms were stuck.

"Ahh, well, isn't that a shame." Angelina stood up and started to walk away from Sam. "Oh, I know!" she raised her pointer finger. "There's a hero boy around here! Soon to be an Elemental, just like you and me! I bet he was the one! Yes, that makes sense!" she turned to face Sam. The spider had raised her arm, prepared to shoot a web, but she was still too frozen in fear to do anything. "Come on! Even after I threatened the boy, you still aren't willing to strike me!"

"W-What?"

"We already know who struck our experiments. You, the lightning boy, and that black rose. Please, you don't think we're fools, do you? We know about it all, and I'm here out of boredom." Angelina began juggling her knife. "So many of you are weak, and fear for your lives, to the point that none of you stand your ground and face me without provocation. The last time I left home to face one of you was thirty years ago. I've done nothing but sit around and kill worlds for the last thirty years! I haven't had a good fight in decades!"
