Bee was at the hospital, where he was normally on any given day. But there was something bothering him. His chest felt heavy and goosebumps ran up and down his skin. There was a sense of dread throughout the day. All he wanted was his shift to end so he could go home to his wife and child.

He was checking his paperwork over when his friend came over to him.

"Dude, you look like shit."

Bee rubbed his face, trying to wipe off the drowsiness and worry, "I feel like shit as well."

"You should just go home. Honestly, you come to work everyday without fail. Just go and tell Dr. Smith, he's been on your case for you to get a vacation as well."

Bee thought about it, and came to the conclusion that it would be best. It would put his heart at easy, to be at home where he really wanted to be at the moment.

He scrambled out of the office to talk to his supervisors, and after getting the green light, Bee changed and walked out of the hospital with a smile on his face.

On the drive back home, he turned on his radio and listened to his mix tape. Luna had made it for him and he listened to it when while he had the chance.

She had been listening to more of David Yang and his song played. It dropped his mood, being such a sad song though. Bee could never imagine a life without the love of his life. Just thinking of it now made him angry. Pressing a button, he skipped the song.

The drive wasn't much longer, and he finally pulled into his driveway. There was something off though, another car was parked there as well.

"Who could that be?" Bee asked himself. He didn't recognize it. Sophie and Kaelyn said they would be back with Alan later that night. Who would be visiting Luna when Luna hated unannounced visitors?

Getting out of his car and closing the car door, Bee walks up to his house. Standing in front of his door, Bee was going to fish for his keys when he reached for the knob and realized it was unlocked. Luna never left the house unlocked.

Fear and terror rushed through him. Pushing the door open with force, he takes determined strides into his house. But the sight that greeted him was too much. He stops in his tracks to take in his surroundings.

Items were thrown on the floor, chairs on their sides, there was just wreckage after wreckage.

"Luna!" Bee screamed throughout his house. "Luna, where are you?"

Bee walked in further. His eyes sweeping the living room area, not seeing anything. Walking over to the little library and kicking the door in, he searched for his wife to see nothing.

"Luna!?" He screamed back to the view of his living room. It was then he could hear a faint noise. Although there wasn't much, he followed it.

In the kitchen, Bee found her. Luna was laying on the floor, in a pool of blood. Further away, his eye caught the attention of another body.

The moment Bee's eyes laid on Luna, he knew what his body was telling him. Something was going on, and couldn't protect his wife.

"Luna, baby," Bee said, kneeling by his wife.

"Bee," she said back weakly, "You're here."

"Honey," Bee said with tears in his eyes, "Don't move. I'm gonna call an ambulance."

"Bee," Luna said again.

Bee couldn't hear, as he called the police, giving an address, telling them to hurry.

"Bee," Luna repeated.

Bee comes back to her and listens, "Luna, don't talk, you're only going to make yourself more weak. I can go get the first aid kit we have in the house. I can start stopping all the blood."
