I got so emotional during editing that I completely forgot that I am updating on wrong story. Sorry for that. But it was good because I laughed at least. And thanks for telling me otherwise I won't have noticed it.

Please enjoy and write comments and vote.

Sorry once again. ❤️😂😜😊

***Ruha's POV.***

"I am sorry if I am intruding. But today is Ramya and Reyansh's big day, so I can't help but stop by." I say to Kavya Ji.

"Oh, please. You don't need to make excuses. This is your home, too. Ramya would be thrilled to see you." She says and I smile.

The only wish I ever made, other than asking for Ramya's success, is for her to have a different fate than mine. And I am happy that someone up there finally heard my prayers. My faith in God was tested many times, but I still can't help but pray as it was the only thing that kept me going in those dark days.

"By the way, let's discuss something important." Kavya Ji says.

"Sure, Kavya Ji. What is it?" I ask.

"First you have to call me Kavya and second, as I am your one and only daughter's mother-in-law, I have a demand related to your wedding." She says, and a sudden dread fills my heart.

Are they against me getting married or something? But Dad said this family is very modern, so what is it ‌she wants to demand?

"What is it?" I ask.

"My demand is that we should receive... first wedding invitation card." She says with a smile and I sigh.

"You scared me." I say and shake my head with a smile, "Of course your family would be the first to receive it, otherwise my Ramya would not spare me."

We chuckle, but a sudden commotion makes us look at the front door. When I see Reyansh coming in with Ramya in her arms and Daksh Ji behind them carrying a big bag of medicine, my heart almost stops.

"What happened?" Kavya Ji and I both ask together.

"Oh, you are here too, Mum." Reyansh says, "Good."

"First tell me what happened to her?" Daksh Ji asks while Reyansh puts Ramya on the couch and I put her head on my lap.

"She is burning up." I say when I caress her forehead.

"I will bring some cold salt water and cotton cloth stripes." Kavya Ji says and rushes towards the kitchen.

"So, what did the doctor say?" I ask Reyansh.

"She got an injection and if she gets better by evening, we could give her some saline IV." He says.

"How did this happen? No, let me guess. Did she have too much ice cream last night?" I ask.

"Yes. I told her not." He says, looking very concerned, which makes my heart relieved that Reyansh may not love my stupid daughter yet, but he cares for her deeply.

"She also drank cold drinks with me and ate watermelon instead of lunch yesterday. I asked her specifically to not have anything cold for two days. But she always forgets my warning." I say.

"She will be fine, Mum." Reyansh says with a smile and I nod.

"I know. She is a tough one." I say as a memory from the past comes back to haunt me, but I keep it at bay.
