"Guys..." Iori called to get everyone's attention, standing at the front of the classroom. When everyone turned to him, he gave them a deep bow. "I'm sorry for what I've caused today. I'm very sorry, everyone."
"Never mind sorry, what happened with Goenitz?" Benimaru piped up. "Bernstein dragged him off as if he wanted to throw him off the building!"
Iori looked up at him, puzzled. "You mean... you're not mad that I put that rampage on?"
"Why would we be?" Athena piped up. "You did that to find out who ruined you like that."
"But you could've at least told us beforehand, right?" Kensou added. "We would've supported you."
"I couldn't because everyone who wasn't in the video was a suspect," Iori explained. "That meant most of you. So I only told Kyo and Kay."
"We actually thought it was real, not gonna lie," Ryo shrugged. "But now that I think about it, you weren't as aggressive as the last time."
"Yeah, like I said, I was just putting it on," Iori said again. "I didn't actually attack Kyo, just pretending."
"For a second, I thought he had gone crazy for real," Kyo chuckled. "But then he told me to play along."
"Yeah..." Iori nodded sheepishly. "Anyway, Bernstein-Sensei suspended Goenitz and we might get a new homeroom teacher."
"What about Geo?" Alice asked.
"That too," Kay added. "Anyway, I'm just glad we got that over with."
"I don't even feel like studying now," Kyo groaned.
"Kyo, you never feel like studying," Ryo pointed out.
"Can we go on an after-school party or something?" Iori suddenly said. "I'll pay for everyone."
"Won't that be expensive?" Kay asked in surprise.
"It's okay, my treat for doubting you guys," Iori smiled. "WFC?"
Everyone started cheering.
"Are you sure about this?" Kay asked again.
"Hey, just because I had a lot of problems, that doesn't mean I'm poor," Iori smirked. "I get my share of pocket money too."
Kay shrugged and followed him to their spots."Can you bring us to WFC?" Iori said as soon as he changed out of his uniform.
"Why?" Masaomi asked, confused.
"Party on me," Iori sighed, sitting down on the nearest couch. "Because... I did something in class just now."
"What did you do?" Masaomi asked, concerned.
Iori exchanged glances with Aiko, who was beside him, and let out a sigh. "I faked another frenzy, Dad. But it was only because we wanted to catch the culprit that made me viral."
"What?" Masaomi said in surprise. "My gosh... Iori!"
"It was the only way!" Aiko defended her brother. "And our plan worked since we found who it was!"
"Who was it that did this, then?" Masaomi asked. "Was it that Kyo kid?"
"Nah, it wasn't him," Iori shook his head. "He was in our plan since we were sure it wasn't him, he was in the video too."
"Then who was it?" Masaomi asked again.
"The teacher..." Iori sighed. "Yes, Dad. It was the teacher, Goenitz."
"What?!" Masaomi exclaimed in shock. "The teacher did this?!"
"Yes..." Iori nodded. "He's the one who filmed me and made the video viral."
"Did you guys report him?" Masaomi grunted through clenched teeth. "Or do I have to put him in his place myself?"
Iori shook his head. "No no, we already reported him to the principal. He got him suspended."
Masaomi considerably relaxed. "Good..."
They left out the part where Goenitz tried jumping off the building.
"So it's WFC?" Masaomi asked.
"Yes, Dad," the siblings said together.
"Okay," Masaomi nodded. "You have enough money for it, Iori?"
"Yeah, I do," Iori nodded, patting his pocket. "I have extra too."
Masaomi sighed. "Can I know the full story?"
The two of them told him, and he realised why they suddenly went to a friend's house the previous night.
"And then he left me midway," Iori sighed. "I still managed though."
"You guys were pretty clever," Masaomi remarked. "Your friends are good too."
Iori looked proud of himself, but still a little scared. "You're not mad, are you?"
Masaomi sighed. "Well, I was, but seeing how your plan actually worked, what is there to be mad about?"
To his surprise, Iori hugged him.
"Okay, okay, now you said you wanted to go to WFC, right?" Masaomi chuckled, pulling away from the hug.
"Yeah," Iori said, standing up. "Let's go."
"Wait," Masaomi said, going over to his wallet. To their surprise, he pulled out a card and handed it to him. "Here, use my card."
"Dad, no, I have money," Iori refused, shaking his head. "It's enough."
Masaomi just stuffed the card into Iori's hand. "Just take it."
Iori sighed and pocketed the card. "Only because you insist."
"Let's go," Masaomi smiled , grabbing his keys.
Masaomi drove them straight to WFC. To their surprise, Kyo was already there, still clad in school uniform.
"Is that your friend?" Masaomi asked, recognising his uniform.
"Yeah, that's Kyo," Iori chuckled. "You should know him, he's that Kusanagi guy's son."
"Oh... Saisyu's son?" Masaomi asked in surprise. "Yeah... looks just like his father but young and without a beard."
Iori snorted and opened the door. "Bye, Dad! We'll call you once we're done. Come on, Aiko."
The two of them got out of the car and went to Kyo.
"Finally, I thought you were joking about the after-school party!" Kyo remarked as soon as they came up. "You're an hour late!"
"Kyo, we're not like you, coming here still dressed in our smelly uniform," Iori pointed at Kyo's unbuttoned uniform. "We had to go home and get changed."
Kyo grunted and followed him into the shop.
"You think everyone will be coming?" Iori asked. "No one's here but you."
"Ben and Goro said they're coming," Kyo shrugged. "Not sure about the others."
They heard the front door open and turned to see Kay, Kula, and Zayn.
"Hey, this is a class party," Iori jokingly pointed out at the other two besides Kay. "I don't remember these two being in our class."
"I don't remember your sister being in our class too," Kay pointed out with a smirk.
"Hey, we actually contributed to your plan yesterday," Zayn smirked.
"By sticking yourself on the window to watch," Aiko countered.
"Hey!" Zayn scowled.
"Come on, we were just joking," Iori chuckled. "I'm not sure if everyone else are coming but at least you guys are here."
They went over to the counter and started ordering for twenty people. Benimaru and Goro soon showed up and so did Athena and Kensou. The others soon followed. Kyo was the only one lingering around in school uniform.
"Should've went home and changed..." Kyo sighed.
"Who asked you to come here straight from school?" Benimaru snorted. "All of us have changed and you're just here, stinky."
Goro snorted and turned to Iori. "Thanks for this, Yagami."
"No problem, you guys had to endure my frenzy," Iori chuckled. "Twice! Though one was fake, it was still realistic enough to get you guys into panic mode."
"Yeah..." Kyo nodded. "I was in on it, and even I thought it was real."
"This is one very long day," Kay sighed, leaning against the nearest table with his cup of cola. "And I guess this is a good end to it."
"Everything that ends with WFC is good," Iori smirked. "Or am I the only one who likes the fried chicken here?"
"Nope, all of us do," Ryo snorted. "You do know that WFC's bucket combo is a Christmas must-have, right?"
"Yeah, that's why it's my favourite," Iori chuckled. "Also, I think Kagura-Sensei will be taking over for Geography and homeroom from tomorrow onwards."
"Toast to a new homeroom teacher!" Kyo cheerfully said, raising his cup of cola.
"Yeah!" Everyone else exclaimed, joining him.
Kyo seemed to be the happiest for the new teacher.
