Hey, I know I'm a random person on the internet who makes fanfictions in his free time but if you go to school, try to stay safe. I hope you enjoy.

This place looks as run down as the Happy Hotel, but at least that place has running water. Edward, Lark, and I had just arrived at Loo Loo land, which my god looked a lot better in my head. They still had everything a normal carnival would have, except you know churros since someone wants to put fucking cocaine in the machine. Don't know how you would do that, did someone bring in a bag of cocaine and just forget to take it when they left? I mean I get it they look similar in color but sugar has somewhat of a crystal look... hmm? Yes I know crystal meth is a thing, look I just don't understand how you make that kind of mistake! I wanted Churros damn it!
.... La sigh, besides that. I still think this place is a rip-off of something else and not even a good rip-off at that. That's not even me being mean this place looked like something you would see in a bot-leg horror movie for kids. Or one of those Bollywood movies, though those can be pretty funny at times. But seriously who signed off on this place? The workers look dead inside and the mascot keeps dancing like he took some Ketamine before he clocked in and some robot keeps looking at us and smiling creepily.
As much as I would love to leave this place, Edward had one of the biggest smiles I've seen on his face since I met him. He even had a little sparkle in his eyes as he looked around, I'll save my rude comments later. "So Edward, what do you want to do first?" Lark asked, Edward was constantly looking around, his breathing had no pace to it. One second he was breathing slowly as if to calm himself then the next moment he was breathing as if he had just run a mile. I patted him on the back and could feel his heart pounding in his chest. "Hey, buddy, you okay?" I asked, he looked at me with the same big smile. "Sorry it's just, I've never been to an amusement park before so this is all kind of overwhelming. I just don't know what to do." He looked down, rubbing his hands as if he had just done something wrong.
"Well then if this is your first time, why don't we make it the best first time you've ever had... okay that sounds weird, let's just have fun," Lark said Edwards' smile had somehow gotten larger, he looked over at me as if asking for my approval. Why are they asking for my approval? Not wanting to make him wait I simply nodded, he grabbed Larks' arm and ran off to one of the booths.
'Ah to be young again... all right I know I'm not that old but like when I say young I mean like 10-year-old kind of young. Back when I killed my mother, ahh those were the good days. 'Now that I think about it, I have a lady's(or man this is 2022 everyone can be whatever they want) number on my phone with her/his exact name... I should really delete it or call them.' I made a mental note to do something with that number by the end of the week and walked over to Edward and Lark who were playing one of the most rigged games at a carnival. The Balloon Dart Throw. No matter how many times you ever throw the goddamn dart it always carves over to the side or loses all its momentum before it hits the target. Then when you do get the perfect throw the balloon seems to have a reflect enhancement. Shit's rigged I tell yer.
