Backstory: Himiko is the Empress' sister. When her sister and her brother-in-law adopted Harumi, she was so happy to have a neice and treated Harumi with nothing but kindness. When the Sons of Garmadon attacked the Royal Palace, Himiko somehow survived but was injured and taken to a hospital in Ninjago City where she was in a coma which lasted until sometime after Demic's defeat. During the Oni invasion, she was one of the survivors that the ninja saved. While staying on the Bounty during the invasion, she got to know Garmadon and they became close. After the merge, she started helping people who were suffering from the Chaos the merge called and the people asked her to become the new Empress of Ninjago. So, she became the new Empress of Ninjago and ruled justly and fairly. She helped those who were in need and treated everyone with kindnes whether they were noble or commoners. She also tried her best to make a difference for her people and assisted in public affairs rather than just be a figurehead with no real power.
