Background: His father was the former elemental master of obsidian and died before Onyx was born. His mother died giving birth to him.
He lived in an orphanage until he ran away when he was 5. Luckily he met Mystake and she decided to raise him as her own son.
He grew up in a small village and helped Mystake with her tea shop.
However, one day Wu visited the tea shop and sensed that Onyx had elemental powers and offered to train him how to use his elemental powers which Onyx accepted. He then introduced to the ninja by Wu and joined their team, helping them on their adventures.
When the merge happened he ended up in the Land of Lost Things where he met Geo, Bonzle, Fritz, and Spitz.
