"What do you mean 'your dad'?" Stephan asks shocked as he drives us to work.
"Mom told me yesterday that Luke might be my dad and Selene and I are some rare type of twins." I explain. He gives me a what the fuck reaction and waits for me to say something more.
"Luke and I are doing a DNA test before work to see for sure. I wanted to ask you if you want to do one too." I say kind of scared for his reaction.
"Why? Luke and I aren't related." He says laughing.
"I know but still. I want to know for sure I'm not dating a secret cousin." I say.
"Because this will smooth your anxiety I will do it." He smiles and puts his hand on my knee.
"Thank you." I smile at him.
"No problem." He says smiling back.
"Is that why you wanted to go to work earlier?" He asks as he parks his car.
"Yes." I say. We get out of the car and get inside.
"Luke is in the office." Silas says as we get inside.
"Luke told you?" Stephan asks.
"Yes. Now go before you guys are late on the floor." Silas says and continiues what he's doing. Stephan and I are going upstairs to the office where Luke is sitting.
"Hey guys. Come in." He says. We get in and Stephan closes the door.
"If you are my dad how are we going forward with it all?"
"I'll keep doing what I'm doing now and maybe we can start including you in our family dinners at one point. We will do everything at your pase. I know how you are with changes and I will do everything to make you feel comfortable with everything." Luke says.
"Thank you."
"You guys ready?" He asks us and gives us each our things to do the tests. We nod and take it from him.

"All right. Let's get this over with." Stephan says as we have the results at the end of shift. Luke, Silas, Stephan and I are all in the office waiting to find out.
"First, Stephan's, so we know if he's a cousin." Luke says looking st his screen.
"As expacted, he's not." Luke says relieved.
"Oh thank god." I say relieved.
"Would it he that bad to have me in your family?" Stephan says.
"As a cousin, yes."
"Why?"
"Stephan, we've been dating for what, 6months? We've had sex. That's bad if you were my fucking cousin." I say.
"I see that point." He says.
"You're my daughter." Luke says.
"Sorry what?" I asks shocked. Fuck my life. All the trouble I went through with Jake thinking he's my dad, all those daddy issues I got, all for fucking nothing. Thanks mom.
"Is it that bad?"
"No, just all the trouble I've been through with Jake, the daddy issues and shit. It just feels like I've been through shit for absolutely nothing."
"I get that." Luke says.
"Alright, Steph, let's go let them talk in private." Silas says standing up. Stephan gives me a quick kiss on my head and they walk out together.
"So now what?" I ask.
"Nothing has to change if you don't want to. Only thing that changes is that I am your father and not Jake, and I'm willing to stand up for it if you want to."
