"You let them kick dad out?" Selene says as soon as I walk into the house.
"They choose to do that. I didn't have anything to do with it." I say.
"How dare you let them kick our dad out?"
"Our dad? No, he hasn't been here for us in over 10 years, suddenly it's came to light that I have a completely different dad and he comes back into it? I don't believe it." I say.
"You're acting like a spoiled bitch." Selene spats at me.
"No, I'm reasonable, he's been stalking me for a week now, comes to my work to try and talk to me, sends his wife to do the same, shows up to a party he wasn't even invited to and tried to beat up my father."
"Don't start acting like you're too good for this family now you got a different dad."
"You know what Selene, screw you. You're being a stock up bitch because you suddenly got the attention of your dad. Just know I won't be here for you when he leaves again." I say walking up to my room.
"No no. You're not going away again." I hear Damon says as I walk past his room.
"What Damon? I'm done with Selene's bitching." I say turning around to face him.
"I get that but your saying things you're going to regret." He says.
"I'm done Damon I can't do this any longer." I say broken.
"Come here." He says pulling me in a hug.
"Everyone is blaming me for shit I have no control over. I'm done with it. Even Selene does it."
"I've heard it all. I'll talk to Selene as well, this has to stop."
"Thanks." I say and let go.
"What are you doing today?" He asks.
"Getting changed before work." I say.
"You work today? Didn't you get the day off for that lunch?"
"No? I started later because of that lunch so I'm getting changed." I say.
"This is going to be one hell of an awkward lunch with you and Selene fighting." He says.
"I know." I mumble. I get to my room and put on some black ripped jeans and a off white off the shoulder shirt. I get my black Fila's out of my closet and get changed.
"Do you need to shower?" Jaxon asks after knocking on the bathroomdoor.
"No, showered at Stephan's this morning."
"Cool." He says and I hear the shower going. Once I'm changed I open my laptop and do a little homework.
"Kids! We got to go!" I hear mom say. I close my laptop and grab my bag. I put my work shirt in it, get my phone from my desk and walk downstairs.
