Tamara's POV

"So, do you know if you want to go to college?" Kylie asks when we sit down after an assembly about colleges.

"I want to, I've always wanted to continue my education." I say

"What do you want to do?"

"Either go into medicine, become a physical therapist or maybe go into business to see if I can take over after dad, I could always do both."

"I'm doing business." Stephan says.

"How about you?" I ask Kylie.

"I don't know yet, thinking about becoming a surgeon, thinking about just taking a gap year and travel a little."

"Damn, a surgeon? Didn't know you wanted that."

"Eh, more like my mom wants me to. She's a surgeon herself, neuro and wants me to do the same."

"But what do you want?" Stephan asks.

"I don't know, that's why I want to take a gap year, just no pressure."

"I get that, but I have to go, sorry guys." I say looking at my phone that's ringing.

"Let me take you home." Stephan says when he picks up his bag.

"Okay." I smile at Stephan.
"I'll see you after the holidays, enjoy your Christmas break." I say to Kylie and give her a hug.

"You too, enjoy your trip."

"Thanks." I smile at her. Stephan and I walk to his car and I call my dad back.

"Hai, you called?" I say as he picks up.

"Yea, I wanted to know where you are and how late you're getting here?"

"I just finished school and am on my way home to get my suitcase and everything."

"All right, we have to be at the airport in an hour."

"Yea, I'll make it, don't worry dad."

"You're not going with your siblings and mom?"

"No, Stephan is bringing me."

"All right, I'll see you there then, please don't be late." He says.

"I won't dad, don't worry." I say and he hangs up.

"Is he always like this when he's flying?"

"Yes, and it's annoying because dad isn't at all, he's just there at the last minute and it drives Luke insane. So funny to watch."

"Well, let me go grab my suitcase and I'll be out in a minute." I say as we get to my house.

"Let me help you get it." He says.

"It's already downstairs." I say.

"Still, let me help you." He says getting out of the car. I smile and get out as well. We go inside and I see my suitcase standing next to the stairs.

"Anyone home?" I yell.

"Just me." Jason says from the top of the stairs. He still looks like shit with a finally fading bruise on his eye and cheeckbone. The cut in his lip is just a small line and his arm is still in a brace.

"How are you?" Stephan asks. It's been a week since the fight.

"I'm fine. My shoulder and colorbone still hurt the most." He says shrugging.

"No more kissing taken girls?"

"I didn't kiss her, she was on me, I tried to push her off." He grumbles.
