Someone asked me to do a cultivation story so I decided to write a test chapter and depending on people's reactions maybe write it. Anyways enjoy.

"I'm sorry kid, you don't have a quirk. You'll never be a hero."
Those simple words crushed me that day. A kid who loves heroes learning that he can never be one. For a couple weeks people say I looked dead inside. That was until I visited the library and found an odd book. The book was a story about how a normal man trained for years and became a god. I read the book multiple times before I realized the story was actually a guide to become a god.
In the story he started when he was ten and his aptitude for what he called cultivation was average. I started at four and two months and now I don't know how old I am. For the first two years all I did was exercise and forge my body to become stronger and faster. Using the exercises in the book the first thing I did was refine my skin and muscles. It took him a year to make his skin harder than a dragon scale which can scratch diamonds while it took me 6 months.
I did what took him four years to refine his skin, muscles, nerves, veins, bones, and a spiritual copy of the body in one year. I did the exercises again at double the difficulty just to be safe a second time. During this time I was teased and bullied but no one tried to attack me as I could easily hurt them just by flicking them. Even a kid with super strength was afraid to fight me and began to train himself. We did become friends though as he followed my training at first.
When I finished the first steps of Body Tempering I began to do the Spiritual and Mental Tempering at the same time. The Spiritual Tempering was basically me meditating and absorbing energy from outside my body and make it my own. This external Chi, Qi, essence, or whatever you want to call it has multiple elements. According to the book people usually just absorb Pure Essence which has all elements and no elements at the same time.
I could have just absorbed it that way but I decided to be extra. In the book it said there are six main elements in the world: water, fire, earth, air, light, and darkness. All six are in perfect balance in Pure Essence but each one has a tiny bit of it's opposite element in it. Think of it as a Yin Yang symbol kinda. Earth has a bit of air, fire has water, and light has darkness. Oops, sorry got side tracked. I decided to absorb the elements individually and put each into their own bit.
There are tons of cultivation stories saying you make that worlds energy into cores, thread, or oceans inside your body. Some say they all reside in your body loosely, others in a special spot in your body along some chakra lines, or some other random stuff. After reading so many I decided to take inspiration from them and the book that started this. I honestly believe I overdid it by a long shot now as I remember this.
The original book said make one gaint core and form up to 16 mini cores around that core creating a solar system. Then make 16 of those for a galaxy and then make 16 galaxies to finally become a god. You have to do all that and contain it in a mental visualization of a cave. The Spiritual Tempering is absorbing and making the essence yours while the mental is all containing it all in this made up mental space.
My idea was definitely way overkill, I am actually a bit surprised I am still alive after just making the starter cores. I visualized 6 giant universe sized cores and slowly filled them with each element as pure as I could make them in a fluid form. I barely finished that step when I was 16 and had to do the entrance exam. That day is still one of my favorite memories. No matter which bot I was against it took one punch without any spiritual power. Saitama would have been proud of me.
The Zero pointer was the first challenge. Three punches per limb to actually destroy it. After the test was over I asked if I could fight one more without holding back any. Nezu said yes and then laughed maniacally once I destroyed it in a punch using all 6 elements to make a pure energy punch. I barely removed a drop from each doing that and it was instantly refilled thanks to my cores now being able to absorb their own elements without my help.
That's when I started my next step of making the solar systems. I actually made them I slide the universe sized cores filled with fluid essence. In each one I made the essence form into strings so pure and dense just one ball would drain about half of the universe sized cores. Over the next decade I formed the galaxies until I had a perfect universe. The only thing that made it very dangerous was that I made the threads from the opposite element.
You guys are most likely confused, "How is it dangerous to make galaxies of Fire essence thread in a fluid universe of Water essence?" Because they are opposites they cancel each other out. Make the Fire Thread too weak and I have to remake it wasting Fire essence. If I make it too strong I destroy the Water Essence core and cripple my cultivation until I remake it which takes a long time. Now why it was super dangerous I was doing all Six at the same time. If a cultivator destroys all of his cores he is dead.
There you guys go, that's how I became a god through cultivation. I rather not go into details how to do it since you all have quirks. Unfortunately people with quirks are unable to cultivate unless they start forming the cores before the quirk forms. Now if you'll excuse me, it's wrestling day. Today I'm against Zeus and Heracles.
