Dragon Rangers

Small note before the story this one will most likely stay a small mini story for a while. At the time of me writing this I'm working on multiple stories, have a few wrote in a notebook, and I don't exactly feel like creating a villain, future power upgrades, etc for this yet. I hope you all enjoy.

Before the universe existed and time flowed like a never ending river there was nothing. Suddenly two dragons appeared and with their appearance the big bang was caused and our universe was formed. As the two dragons watched the universe form they fought to decide who should control this new universe: good or evil. They soon decided to let a third party decide. With a deal made they both sealed themselves in a giant crystal ball as two golden statues curled in an eternal yin yang. As the universe formed the crystal ball floated until it ended up on Earth.

The crystal was found billions of years later in Japan. The crystal was at first viewed as a replica from the gods until someone touched the crystal and foresaw the universe being created and their deal. This person feared the crystal and revealed the truth. No one believed them as they carved a stand for the orb and made it his family's mission to keep the deal from happening. For centuries that family hid the crystal until it ended up in a museum.

"Or at least that's what this placard here. Honestly I don't believe it but the crystal is quite old. We can't even carbon date it." A museum guide said as he lead a class of students through the museum. "Excuse me but what exactly is the supposed deal?" The guide and the entire group of small kids turned and looked at one kid. The short green haired kid blushed as everyone focused on him.

"Izuku correct? Anyways the deal was they would both select 5 or more warriors to fight for them. These warriors would make the final decision on which side rules the universe. When one of the chosen are nearby the crystal it'll form some type of item to give them power." The students laughed as some kids showed off their quirks.

The guide shook his head until he noticed something odd. The crystal glowed slightly but assumed it was just from one kids flashy explosive quirk. What he didn't see was a small crystal dragon form from the giant crystal orb and secretly crawl it's way to the green haired kid. Once it got close it turned invisible and went into his backpack as he continued the tour.

Hours later when the kid got home he sighed and dug into his backpack for his homework. That's when he felt something odd. He pulled out the crystal dragon and looked at it curious. "What's this doing in my bag? I hope Kaachan isn't going to try to pin theft on me again." That's when the crystal dragoness turned green and began to move, "Hello Izuku, I am Esmeralda your dragon and you are my Dragon Ranger."

This makes Izuku fall backwards in shock as the crystal dragoness suddenly became real and then speak. "Oops sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Are you ok?" The small dragon looked down at her ranger a bit worried. After a little bit Izuku stood back up and looked her over, "I'm ok but what's a Dragon Ranger and how are you alive?" He then spent the night talking to his dragoness learning all he could for now about what being her Ranger means.

The next day at school he entered his classroom with his dragoness disguised as a bracelet. He went through the school day with no more trouble than the usual bullying, that is until the end of the day. Kaachan noticed his "new bracelet" and decided to tease Izuku. "What's with the bracelet? Hoping to get powers from the dragons crystal?" This makes everyone around laugh.

"I don't need you bullying me. It's just a bracelet Mom got me." Izuku said as he kept packing his stuff. This unfortunately made Kaachan even madder, but then again when is he not mad? For Izukus comment he tried to destroy Esmeralda with an explosion only to make a certain dragoness and her Ranger. "Do that again Katsuki and I will not be held accountable for what happens next."

His cold tone made everyone feel like a bucket of ice water was poured down their spines. Katsuki stayed quiet for a few seconds in shock before his rage hit a new all time high, "How dare you look down on me Deku!!" With that he tried to blow up what he though was a bracelet. The resulting flash of light from his quirk and something else blinded everyone.

When everyone could see again Izuku and his stuff was gone. There was no books, no paper, not even any ash where he was last standing. Everyone freaked out as they thought Katsuki had killed Izuku when in reality he was elsewhere. When Izuku opened his eyes he was suddenly in a giant room that was separated into three major parts and one minor part where two sections kinda overlapped.

One section had so much technology and machines to make stuff even a fictional character called Stark would be green with envy. The second had what could only be described as a purely magical zone with a cauldron, chalk, gems, plants, and more. The overlap was where both of those zones kinda worked together while the last major zone was a massive library. Books over anything Izuku could want or need to know was here along with much more.

As Izuku was looking around Esmeralda slid of his arm and grew to the size of a golden lab and chuckled, "I was going to wait to show you this on your birthday next week but I didn't want to be hurt again." Izuku quickly hugged her, "It's fine and I love this place but where are we?" "This is our den. Here time moves differently than outside, well it will once I finish it. This is where we will train, learn, and build to get stronger and fight other Dragon Rangers." This made Izuku think a bit as he looked around, "So not all Dragon Rangers are good?" Esmeralda shook her head, turned back into a bracelet, and said, "Unfortunately no. That's why we must get stronger so evil can't win." With that they duo returned to the classroom where everyone was still freaking out.

When he reappeared with all his stuff people were stunned so bad they were speechless. After a few seconds Katsuki hugged Izuku. This stunned people even more as he spoke, "I'm so sorry Izuku. Since I thought you were quirkless I was trying to scare you away from being a hero and getting hurt. When you vanished I thought I killed you." The two young kids hugged each other as Izuku forgave his friend.

A week later they celebrated his 5th bday and Izuku started to use his and Esmeraldas den while he lied about what his quirk is. He says he can hide himself and some items in a pocket dimension of his own making. He then spends the next 11 years learning magic, making technology, and magictek. The stuff he creates is beyond anyone's imagination.

When the entrance exam happened he activated his Dragon Ranger form. Scales slowly covered his body and formed into a strange outfit. He looked like an ancient series character called a power ranger as the scales finished forming. The helmet was shaped like a dragons open maw with the visor forming to fill it. In this suit he decimated every bot he went up against and got into a lot of trouble too as other Dragon Rangers had been chosen and seen him change. After that day his life became a war against the others which no one won. An eternal battle between multiple good, evil, and neutral rangers still rages in their reality to this day.
