Skeleton Warriors

This short story is a mix of MHA and an old cartoon series called Skeleton warriors. The basics of the show is that a special crystal that was powering the entire country gets shattered blasting 4 people with its energy. These 4 get powers, the evil gets the ability to turn those with evil in their heart into skeletons like him, and the other three get different powers. Big power struggle to get complete control over the crystal halves.

I walked through the ruins of what was my kingdom. Every since the day Kacc.... No, Bakugo, made the Lightstar Crystal break in half. He tricked me, Prince Izuku, into letting him see the crystal. Since that day I have been fighting him and his skeleton warriors every single day. It's so annoying, I de-skeletonize one guy and Bakugo turns him back into a blasted bonehead. Today I hope to end his reign of terror over my people. Hopefully tonight I will finally be rid of him.

As I saw some boneheads doing their nightly patrol paths I shot them with a new gun my uncle created. The vibrations from the guns speaker causes their HeartStones, which is what we call the stone keeping them as skeletons, to shatter. As they all became humans again my team knocked them out and tied them up in a hidden base.

We snuck towards the arena where he was giving a giant speech to those loyal to him. After getting a few patrols made back into humans we finally arrived at the arena. "My scummy skeletons, I have unfortunate news. We will be ruining Prince Dekus Legion of Light flesh bags tonight! As of right now our spy has told us that he will be attacking the room where I "store" my half of the crystal. They'll all die walking into a trap." He laughs as his warriors all cheer.

I smirked as the tower explodes, I just sent a few robots I had from my days as prince in there with the spy. They all cheered more chanting, "Long live King Bakugo!" I was behind Bakugo in the shadows as he shut off his microphone and smirked, "King Lightstar should have chosen me at the orphanage not some whimpering simpleton. I now have what I deserve." He started to laugh again until he turned his microphone back on. "Now my skeletons let's work on making everyone immortals like us!! Let's make the world our desolate playground!!"

The cheering began to go crazy. That's when we decided to finally strike. I shot off a green flare and Bakugo said, "Who planned the fireworks? I specifically said no green fireworks!!" That's when I stood behind him, "I did, Kacchan." When he turned to look at me surprised I blasted him and his two guards. When his minions saw him turn human they gasped somehow. I snatched his half if the crystal from his neck and fused them back together as his army was quickly made back into humans.

Once we finished that I tapped into the magical power of the Lightstar Crystal. "For treason against the royal family of the Kingdom of Lightstar Bakugo Katsuki, shall be put in prison for life along with his 5 main cohorts in crime. The rest of you all will be sentenced community service. Until the kingdom is back to its former glory you all will rebuild the buildings and machines you ruined. The year of chaos you all caused is over. I Prince Lightstar Izuku proclaim that the throne is mine again."

With that I tapped into the crystals power and created handcuffs out of light around all the former skeletons and had them escorted to the prison. It took five years to get the kingdom back to how it use to be. Once it was done the crystal had fused completely to my hand and nothing I could do to remove it.

On the day everything was back to how it was I headed to the life sentence building where Bakugo and his cohorts. I stood outside his cell and sighed, "How have you been other than the obvious?" Bakugo growled, "What do you think King dipshit?" I shake my head, "Finally got the kingdom back to how it was and further. Too bad you're stuck here my old friend. I was going to make you my adviser and a Duke that day." I begin to leave, "Hopefully one day I can forgive you and we can be friends again."

I left the building and headed back to my castle. Once there I kissed my wife and held my child. "I'm so glad that at least life is back on track. Let's hope when I fully become part of the Lightstar Crystal the new containment room is finished and our child is ready for that day." My wife sighed, "I wish you would let them cut off your arm and let us save your life. We have mechanical arms you can use."

I nodded as I thought about it, "That may be best but with a way to use the crystals power when needed. I know now that sometimes force is needed." She nodded and we designed the future for the kingdom with warnings and scary stories of evil people holding the crystal and the chaos caused. Hopefully the future is much brighter for my kingdom.
