A New Beginning

Another One of Those Days...

Sonics Pov:

I wake back up realizing Shadow has left the room but has also left a note saying. "Hey Sonic, I'll be out for a little bit. I needed to ask Tails if he could help fix something on Omega if possible.I also made breakfast for you downstairs if you want any but dont worry I'll be back soon...I...I love you darling."

My face turning a bright red, and all flustered. Reading this not only made me feel more safe, and I actually felt like I have made some good stepping stones on making good communication with Shadow. I mean...even if it did take fucking him and having a spooning session in the middle of the night...its still...progress? Well for him at least. I've never seen him this open, not even when he was venting to me a while back about Maria and how he felt like he let her down. He cut off some of the important parts about what he felt like, so he didnt come off as weak to me...sadly that's how he apparently copes with reality.

I get up out of bed and put back on my boxers and some work out shorts. I also put on my socks and a work out tank top. Not saying I'm going to work out, just felt like wearing them. I finally leave the room and walk downstairs to see breakfast was made and it was still warm none of the less. 'So he left a few minutes ago then...huh, well more for me!' On the plate was a sunny side up, a hash brown and some toast. All I could think of at the moment was 'how adorable ♡' I almost laugh at the thought that he actually made this for me.

I sit down and start eating away, the food tasted amazing almost too real to even be true! I slowed down and this will probably be the only time for that...but I want to savor this moment, how the food tastes, the generosity, the kindness put into this really made me feel all fuzzy inside.

"AHHH!" A man yells from outside, I put down my fork and drink down some water so I dont choke. I run outside to see people screaming and running. I'm of course in shock, what could have happened?! I then look at what their running from and it was one of Dr. Ro-fat-fat-fat-fat-fat-fat-fuck's stupid machines on the fritz again. I roll my eyes annoyed as I put on my shoes and gloves, proceeding to walk outside and say.

"Its gonna be another one of those days..."
