Chapter 21: Necro Fantasia

Back in Gensokyo, Marisa was sitting on her broom in the sky of a lovely summer's day full of ice and snow. Alice was deeply in love with her, but Reimu was still dating her. It would be a problem for Alice and Reimu though, because our red and white shrine maiden had a thing for Sakuya as well, but Sakuya was with Remilia. She either had to stop Alice from finding her way into Marisa's heart or make Sakuya and Remilia stop seeing each other somehow.

Alice looked at Reimu.

"Look at her, just sitting there like that, I actually quite like her."

Reimu looked back at Alice.

"What?"

"Well, we both like her, and there's nothing better to make a girl choose someone they love than having a fight, and the victor gets her."

"I'm not sure that's a good idea."

"Why?"

"I mean, what if she doesn't want to be with you and just wants to be friends?"

"Oh, right."

Other people like Y/N had a thing for Flandre, and chances are, she had a thing for them as well.

What was really interesting is that the weather changed to ice so suddenly. It wasn't like the incident with Youmu and Yuyuko. This had something to do with a very powerful Youkai.

"Tell you what." Reimu said. "If me and Marisa fail to solve this incident together, and come back defeated and without luck, you can have her."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Fine. I agree!"

Reimu and Marisa went into the Youkai forest, where there seemed to be a source of the cold weather. It was very windy as well, as they went up.

"So..." Marisa said, "who do you think caused this?"

"Yukari. Without a doubt it's her. She was acting strangely a few days ago."

After a few minutes of hauling their way up a steep hill, they got to the top, and as expected, Yukari Yakumo was there, but Alice was with her.

"Alice?!" Marisa and Reimu said at the same time.

"Heehee." Alice giggled. "There's no chance you're defeating both of us! Then you'll certainly go back defeated and without luck!"

"Damnit Alice, why couldn't you just stay out of it?" Reimu asked, aggravated.

"Marisa." she said.

Marisa looked back at her, with that cute face people have when something adorable happens, except they're not really excited about it.

"What?" she asked.

Before anything happened, the two of them went into a bullethell Touhou battle.

As the fight started, Alice summoned a huge Shanghai doll that attacked Marisa and Reimu.

Yukari and Reimu were also fighting, Yukari with lots of ice shards and snow.

"Soon Gensokyo will be just as we want."

The ground around them collapsed. Coincidentally, Sakuya, Remilia and Flandre had all followed them and witnessed the battle that was about to take place.

Yukari and Reimu had a very huge fast paced battle of ice and money. Sakuya often came in and distracted Yukari while Reimu attacked her.

After a while, the ground continued collapsing around them, and Yukari backed Sakuya onto the edge, where there was no escape. It was a huge distance up, meaning if she jumped she would fall to her death.

Yukari looked at her.

"Long live the Princess."

She pushed her, and she began falling.

But just before the end, Tagashi came out of nowhere and caught her before she landed. The immense force of the fall though knocked them both off their feet.

Then, Remilia appeared behind Yukari, hatred in her eyes.

"It's about time this madness stops."

She then created a huge formation of the land Yukari had destroyed and threw it all at her at once. She leapt off the ledge and down to Sakuya and Tagashi. Reimu looked down as well. It seemed Yukari had been defeated.

But what of Alice? As it turned out, Marisa had shown no mercy on her and sent her and the giant Shanghai doll into the Netherworld, where she would be trapped forever by Youmu and Yuyuko's magic powers.

Gensokyo was at peace again.
