It had been several months since the incident with Alice. It had seemingly been forgotten about by almost everyone.
Almost.
Patchouli was wandering around outside the mansion when she spotted something small and made of leather. It was a book.
She picked it up. It was very burnt and illegible. She could barely make out the words on the front. She read them carefully.
"It's Not Over Yet." the book said.
Patchouli screamed and threw it across the garden. She sent fire magic, ice magic and lightning magic at it. Nothing did anything, and only made it appear more repaired.
Remilia and Sakuya ran outside to find out what all the noise was about.
"What is it?" Sakuya asked.
Patchouli pointed at the now perfectly clean and fixed book.
"That... th... thing." she whispered shakily.
Sakuya picked it up. She too, then threw it across the garden upon reading it and ran inside.
The book then disappeared.
"神は私たちを守ってくれます。" Patchouli said.
