As Sakuya and the others returned to Gensokyo, something seemed off, but they couldn't tell what it was. Could it perhaps be Vanny? Another end-of-the-world scenario? Or perhaps it was the unacquainted and unseen girl in pink and her pink blob pet that was watching them from behind the trees.
Eerie, child-like laughter came from the forest. They all turned around.
"It's nothing." Sakuya said. "Let's get to the mansion."
They all went into the mansion to talk to Remilia.
"There you are. I hope you found the journey alright."
"It was... nice." Tagashi said.
"Now... to answer your questions. I have something. A gift of sorts. It's yours if you want it."
"What is it?"
"Would you like to be immortal? To have the power to live forever?"
"Well, it sounds cool but..."
"Do you want to be a vampire?"
They both hesitated. Y/N spoke up.
"That sounds fun." they said.
"Very well. What about you?" she asked Tagashi.
He thought about it for a moment.
"While that sounds fun, I prefer to be human."
"Very well. Now..." she looked at Y/N and walked up to them.
"Stay still."
She bit them, thus making them contract vampirism.
Several hours later...
Y/N woke back up on the floor of the throne room. Everyone who resided in the mansion was there.
"Ah, at last. I was wondering how you would handle it."
As Y/N tried to get up, everything felt different.
"You're probably experiencing some side effects. It's ok, that's normal when the process first happens. You are now one of us. Welcome to the Family." Remilia said. "Unfortunately, you are now vulnerable in direct sunlight, so I'd advise staying inside until nightfall. Then we can have some fun together. If you want to go out, we will give you a complimentary umbrella free of charge, to protect yourself in terms of weather. Oh, and don't forget, I'm your mistress now. Best not to forget."
"Thank you... mistress." Y/N said. "What happened to Tagashi?"
"They are still here, but do not possess the physical capabilities you now do. Now everyone, I believe we are done here."
They all left the room. Remilia went up to Y/N as she was leaving.
"Don't let Flan cause any trouble."
They all left, leaving Y/N to do as they wished.
