My next lesson was English the only class that Carter was in. He was in the front row. It was a slow lesson but I spent most of it watching his back dreaming of what it would be like to run my fingers over his shoulders and through his thick hair. Mrs nickel called on me for an answer snapping me out of my trance. I didn't know it so she moved on giving me a disapproving look as she quizzed the other kid.
The bell finally went off signalling the end of the lesson and the beginning of maths 'uhhh great we have a test' I didn't like math It was too complex and unnecessary and all the numbers and symbols just kinda blended into one.

Ivy was waiting for me by her car she had just turned seventeen and had gotten a BMW for her birthday she loved the car as much as a child. "So are you planning on going to the party tonight it's gonna be a big one like everyone is going I checked"
I rolled my eyes "how did you check you can't talk to everyone"
She smiled cunningly "carters gonna be there"
"Uhhh fine I'll go what time is it" I groaned
" I will pick you up at 8:30"grinning "LETS GET READY TO PARTY!!" She yelled everyone in the car park turned to look at her confused. I blushed and looked at my feet "oh my god you're so embarrassing"
She laughed "I know"
It takes fifteen minutes to drive to my house from school and the entire time Ivy was blaring Blondie songs on the car's stereo singing along at the top of her lungs, I couldn't help but laugh at her and sing along as well.

Me and Ivy had been best friends since year three when she moved to my school. She was the loud, colourful girl that was brutally honest and found it kinda hard to make friends but we clicked and were as tight as super glue after only a couple of weeks. Her parents are quite wealthy and she lives in one of the posher neighbourhoods in our town. She had always been a little spoiled but it was not unbearable so I put up with it. I have never had any siblings so she was like a sister to me and we did everything together always around each other's houses or her getting me into trouble somewhere. She has always been shorter than me and we look almost completely different apart from the fact we both have brown eyes, her hair is dark mine is blond she is tan I'm pale she is short and I'm quite tall. So when we were little and trying to convince the people at school that we were sisters no one believed us.
