I was nervous and fidgety all day thinking about the stupid France trip. The only relief was listening to Ivy rage about her ex girlfriend, Dee who according to her was a 'backstabbing ***** that was self centred and was really vain' they hadn't dated long, just under a month and you could tell the entire time that Ivy was not happy. She doesn't really talk about there breakup so I don't know exactly what happened all I know is Dee is not some one to bring up lightly.
I decided that I would spend lots of time with Ivy today as I hadn't spent quite as much time with her as usual recently.
She told me that she was interested in the new girl. Unlike Dee the new girl is tall like me and instead of brown hair hers was raven black. Ivy had a type she liked grungy girls preferably the same height or shorter than her and she didn't mind them older either.
Ivy had said her name was Hallie Nell and she was undoubtedly beautiful plus she was also out as lesbian. It was fun watching Ivy (usually the most talkative person in the world) struggle with words every time Hallie spoke to her. She couldn't tease me about Carter anymore.
I did see Carter today at lunch he bought me a sandwich and we talked in the queue. He couldn't hangout for long though he had a detention to get to. He said that he didn't get detention often and that this one was just for late homework. I believed him and I walked with him to his geography room holding hands the whole way.
When I got back to the field where me and Ivy sit she was laughing and chatting with Hallie. I decided to leave them alone because I didn't wanna make it awkward. I texted Ivy that I would be in the library if she needed me and good luck with Hallie. She read the message and sent back two salsa dancing emojis which made me laugh.
I went to the library, It was quite busy today so I grabbed the nearest seat and started reading. I was only a page in and my mind had already started to trail off . Thinking about France. Maybe I should go. It would be an interesting and fun experience. Plus me and Carter aren't actually together and if we where we could try long distance. Being away from Ivy My mum and Nana would suck but I would call them often. So yeah Maybe I should go. I would tell Ivy that I might go tomorrow. I was not looking forward to that conversation. I new she would be really upset. I once went on holiday for two weeks and she cried because she missed me. I also cried to be fair. I don't know if I could deal with six months with my family hundreds of miles away. But this would be good for me. I would meet new people. Make new friends. And experience Paris,France and the culture with my dad. This would be a fun adventure.
