I decided to unpack first before doing anything else. my dad had left me alone for a bit to explore, he explained that he needed to go to the shops. he didn't have enough food for two. I unzipped my first suite case it contained all of my clothes. there was a large wardrobe in the room so I slowly hung them all up and put them away.

i spent a few hours unpacking when I had finally finished I stepped back and sighed. it looked nice. my posters where on the walls and a few of my nick nacks and books where on the shelves. the room was already well furnished.
I decided to have a look at the garden. The back door slid open easily, and I stepped out onto the moist grass the sun was setting now it was beautiful, pink and orange I took a quick photo. The garden looked like it never ended. All I could see was grass and trees. There was a pond a few meters away. I strolled over to it and watched the large goldfish swim around for a minute. I then walked down a little stone path between a rose arch. I looked around, it was beautiful.
"Oh hello" there was a startled voice behind me. I spun round shocked. "Um hi who are you?" I asked immediately before getting a proper look at the person behind me.
It was a guy probably my age he looked familiar. He had dark brown wavy hair with tanned freckly skin. Bright green eyes and a strong jawline. He was obviously good looking.
"I'm one of the gardeners I haven't seen you before?".
"Oh yeah I'm staying with my dad here for a while I'm from the uk" he suddenly looked at me with a strange expression. And then he smiled.
"Your not Emery are you?" He stepped forward towards me staring at my face with recognition. "Um yeah do I know you?" I asked and then looked hard at his face trying to remember him. "Im Arlo remember my parents work for your dad we where kinda best friends" it clicked. I saw him, my childhood best friend was standing right in-front of me. I hadn't seen him since we where seven that's nine years. But know that I knew who he was I noticed the little similarities between this almost man In front of me and the little boy who I used to chase around my garden with worms. "Oh my god Arlo it's you!" I gasped I felt sick he had grown so much, but then again so had I "I honestly wouldn't have recognised you" he laughed and shrugged.
" I can't believe your here" he sighed and stared at my face again.
"I didn't know if you where still here and I definitely wasn't expecting you to be working for my dad"
Arlos parents both worked for my dads company, when he moved to France so did his company and some of his employees including Arlos parents ( sue and Robert) our family's were very close we lived on the same street, we would have barbecues and beach days and me and Arlo both went to school together. It felt like a dream to see him here like three feet taller and good looking. He was always a pretty boy but like damn.
I stopped myself. This was Arlo the kid that peed himself one time when we were at the pool and then wouldn't stop crying. I couldn't think of him like that could I . No. I wouldn't. I refuse to even notice his incredible jawline and tan skin. I shook my head trying to reset my brain. He looked at me confused. I recognised the face. It was the same face he used to make in a maths lesson when I wasn't helping him. He used to suck at maths but he could run rings around me at PE and science.
