We waited until dinner to tell everyone the news I was really nervous as I knew Mary wouldn't approve but I felt safer with Adam by my side.

Heading down to dinner we all sat around the table, my dad couldn't wait to hear more about Adams job and what he was doing he was so proud, I was and I couldn't believe I was going to be a part of that world soon. Maybe dad would be proud of me then too.

" so Adam are you excited to go on your tour? Where's the first stop? Anywhere exciting " Mary coos at Adam in adoration.

" LA actually I'm looking forward to some sunshine but I - I mean we have some exciting news " Adam coughed nudging me out of my mindless thoughts.

" oh? " Mary raises her eyebrows

" well urm I kinda have a job " I say not making eye contact knowing they could blow up like a bomb anytime soon.

" a job? What kind of job? What's Adam got to do with it? " my dad spoke, speaking his first words of the day to me.

" well Adam asked his manager if I could come on tour with them to replace the bassist they needed " I was now playing with the food on my plate.

Mary choked on her food " ON TOUR WITH ADAM? - I don't think it's a good thing for a young women to be doing " she snapped trying to stop her fits of coughing.

" and why's that? She can play she has no attachments here she's a perfect fit " Adam snaps back, Adam you're my fucking hero I swear.

Mary calms herself my dad was speechless at this point, " well I don't approve, she should be going into something more like a office job very reliable, somewhere where she can dress smart "

I didn't even argue at this point I thought my dreams were being smashed In front of me as my dad always sided with Mary.

Before I could even speak to comply with her words Adam stood up from the table " what kind of sexist shit is that, our mother was musically talented and the only reason you don't approve is because we - I mean SHE reminds you of her someone you could never be " he was practically shaking in a rage.

My jaw dropped open I've never seen Adam act like this, I knew him being away changed him but my god I didn't think he would ever say anything like this to Mary let alone in front of dad. I like this new Adam I was already in awe of him.

My dad doesn't raise his voice he calmly puts his knife and fork down and looks at me " is this what you want? "

My chest was so tight I could barely even speak the words " yes " I whispered I was scared of the consequences of my answer.

" well then you're right Adam, she didn't spend 3 years in college to do nothing with it " my father spoke picking up his knife and fork and started eating again like nothing happened.

" but Mike-" Mary pleaded absolutely shocked he was siding with us for once " Mary she will be working, like you wanted I'm not arguing " my dad butted in.

Mary just looked at her plate bewildered at the fact she wasn't getting her way for once, Adam returned to his seat giving me a small smile and a nod. I couldn't hold back my smile which resulted in Mary shooting me evil looks across the table, I didn't care I was so excited to start this new chapter of my life.

" well we will need to head to London tomorrow so you need to be packed Lu, we have a meeting with management to get some paper work in order " Adam said whilst chewing his food.

" tomorrow? Omg that's so fast " I raise my eyebrows.

" better get packing then " Adam chuckles.

The train to London was a lot faster then I thought I threw basically all my decent clothes in to my suit case, my decent clothes being only black skinny jeans and old band tees paired with my docs.

My guitar was in its case over my shoulder as we head into a large office building, Adam had my bags taken to our hotel but I had to bring my guitar.

I could feel my nerves absolutely bubbling inside me as the elevator went up to the top floor, I had no idea who I was meeting today but Adam reassured me it was only to meet the team and sign some paperwork.

The doors dinged open and we were greeted with a large frosted glass office, I gulped and Adam definitely heard it as he placed his hand on my shoulder guiding me to the door.

" you're gonna be great. I'll be sat next to you the whole time don't worry " he gives me a reassuring smile before opening the door.

Walking in I saw many people sat around a large table but one person in particular caught my attention he was slouched with his feet on the table in a black hoody, his red hair peaking out and sun glasses were preached on his face.

As soon as we walked into the room he removed his sun glasses and looked at me with the most incredible jade green eyes I've ever seen, I felt a twist in my stomach " wow " I whispered under my breath.

Get yourself together Luna stop dribbling over him, I snap my eyes away as I catch a small smirk on his face in the corner of my eye he clearly saw my reaction to him. Fuck.

" hey everyone I present to you your new bassist and my not so little sister Luna " Adam basically had everyone looking at me in the room I hated him for doing that.

Everyone said hello and Adam started introducing me to some do the team, he started with the red haired mystery man who had caught my attention seconds ago  " Dom or aka Yungblud he's our singer " I smile but he doesn't bother just puts his sun glasses on and looks away. Ouch that hurt abit he didn't seem to care I was there at all. Asshole.

He then went on to introduce me to Oli and Emily they worked together as photographer and videographer, they both said hello and gave me a large smile which put my nerves at ease.

After meeting the rest of the crew I met with the tour manger Tom, I shook his hand but my attention was instantly distracted as Dom stood up from his chair " I don't need to be here for this shit " he left without saying good bye. Did I do something? Oh no what if he doesn't like me and I just signed up to be on a tour with him for a year. This is going to be a long year.

Tom saw the discomfort on my face by Dom leaving.

" don't worry about Dom he's like that with most people, and he's probably hungover " Tom gives me a smile. " well everything is in order here we cover your plane tickets whilst travelling and you will be staying on tour bus with Adam, Oli and Emily.

" what about Dom? " shit I said that out loud thinking where does he sleep. Why isn't he with the rest of the crew.

" he likes his privacy he has his own bus " Tom replied.

" if you count endless drugs and different women every night as his privacy then sure " I spin round to see a blonde hair blue eyed girl beaming at me, Emily nice to know she has a sense of humour I'm gonna need that this tour.

Heading out of the room Emily links my arm " so I guess we a bunk buddies, what are you doing later come to bar with us the whole crew is going to be there like a finale blow out before we set off on tour " she beams at me.

" uh I don't know " I said timidly.

" oh come on it's a great way to break the ice right Oli " I now noticed a tall man covered in tattoos and brown shaggy hair was now walking next to me.

" right come on it will be fun " oli smiles at me.

" okay, okay I'll come " I say watching my feet pace down the hall.

Emily screams in excitement, running off saying she will meet me in the hotel lobby in an hour, I don't know what I've got myself into. Help me.
