Dom's pov

Sneaking down town I'm finally at the door of the underground bar, walking in I'm greeted with clouds of smog from the smoke and the strong smell of alcohol. A smell I usually love but tonight it made me scrunch up my face in Disgust, my eyes search the room for the familiar face that is Adams.

Scanning the crowed bar I see Adam slumped over a beer at the back of the room, he hasn't seen me yet and intend of keeping it that way until I can seat myself infront of him.

I make my way through the bodies of people keeping my hood up so no one recognises me, I reach the table that Adam is on and sit. I have thought this moment over in my head many times whilst stuck in a hospital bed, at first I was enraged and wanted to kick his skull in for hiding Luna from me, but after a while I knew that wasn't going to get me anywhere.

We'd fight and he wouldn't tell me about Luna, so I've decided to try connect back to the old Adam the one who used to open up to me about stuff, I'm here to talk and that's it. It's the least he can do after beating me and I let the bastard keep his job.

" this seat taken? " I ask placing myself down.

Adams eye dart up from his beer " what the fuck are you doing here " his knuckles turn while as he balls his hands into fists.

" easy mate I'm here to talk " I try de-escalate the situation. " I have nothing to say to you " Adam spits at me.

" that's fine then just listen and hear me out, that's all I ask I told Tom not to fire you I know you love this job and deep down you're still my best friend Adam I never meant to go behind your back mate " i try ease into the conversation about Luna.

Adam looks at me up and down probably trying to see the damage he's done, my face is still black and blue, and my lip is scabbed over, his eyes soften slightly before turning back into a frown.

" well you fucking did, I know what you're like Dom Luna has been through enough hurt- you'd just use her I couldn't have that I warned you what I'd do. " Adams tone is calmer but still strict I know he's still pissed at me but seeing my face and what he's done I can see he has a face is full of regret.

" I know you warned me, that's why I didn't fight back. But you- you need to hear me out, there's no games involved with me and Luna it's genuine. I know she's been through a lot she told me. I'd never hurt her " I trip over my words trying to wrack my brain of all the things I wanted to say.

Adam has seen me go through so many women, he's seen me kick them out after sex, he's seen me have the most self-destructive behaviour ever so I can understand why he's mad.

Adam stands up getting visibly angry now " why fucking Luna Dom, you can have anyone but WHY HER " he screams in my face.

" because she's different, her it will always be her, don't you get that? If I had a choice between her and a million things I've always wanted my career, everything, I would choose her every single time. " I shout back, not holding back now.

Adam freezes at my words " I don't believe you " he shakes his head about to walk away, he can't walk away he hasn't told me where she is yet, I need to know.

" I FUCKING LOVE HER ADAM OKAY " I shout over the loud music in the bar, Adam stops in his tracks dead still, turning towards me now.

He walks back to the table I'm sat at, sits back down and just looks at me, I felt his eyes bury into my soul trying to work out if I'm lying or not. " Adam I'm not lying I know what you've seen and what you think of me, but I told Luna about my past about me being fucking homeless and in a gang for fuck sake, I showed her every part of me and she-she still cared" I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes as I talk about the moment I knew I loved Luna that night under the blanket of stars.

" if she asked me to rip my heart out for her I'd do it, I'd do anything to protect her, I would never hurt her please Adam " I'm begging him now, I'd never thought I'd do this but I need to show him that's how much I care. I put my stupid ego to one side and beg my best friend to tell me where the women I love is.

" you told her? You told her about the gang? Fuck man are you crying right now " Adam looks dumbfounded at my reaction. Wiping away my tears I just nod my head not knowing what else I can say or do to prove myself.

" you really care for her? If you hurt her Dom I swear I'll beat you again " my head shoots up at his words, he understands, he's starting to realise I'm being genuine about my feelings for Luna.

" I'd take a thousand beatings for her " I say bluntly.

" I'm still weirded out by this all, you and my little sister in love what the fuck " Adam shakes his head and starts to laugh, he's no longer tense and angry he's back to the Adam I know.

I smile " I know I know, it just kinda happened " I shrug signalling for one of the bar staff to come over, I order both me and Adam a beer.

" sorry for falling in love with your sister man " here I hand him the beer and we cheers it, " but no really where is she I've been worried what hotel is she in? " I ask the question that's been eating away at me.

Adam smile fades " uh about that" he looks worried now. " Adam what where is she? " I furrow my brows together confused.

" I was really angry at you both, so I- I kinda sent her back to England she's home " Adam almost whispers the last part.

" YOU DID FUCKING WHAT " I lunge myself across the table at him punching him in the face, I don't know what came over me but I was enraged. I know we went behind his back but to ship her back off home was fucking stupid.

" OUCH fuck Dom " Adam pushes me away " okay I deserved that for the other day and sending Luna away Christ you really do have it bad for her, don't worry I'll call home I can have her come back " Adam try's to calm me down.

" you better " I snap forgetting completely that just half an hour ago he refused to even let me see her, I didn't care I waited all this time and now we have an ocean between us.

Adam picks up his phone calling home.

" hey Mary is Luna there can I talk to her" Adam waits for the response, I'm biting my nails at this point I just want to hear her voice again.

" okay well, when she's back can you tell her that I'm sorry and that she can come back here I'll arrange a flight "

" wait what do you mean that's not possible?! " Adam questions.

My whole body is tense where is Luna and why can't she come back.

" she's with FUCKING WHO, are you two out of your mind sending her to be with that psycho " Adam shouts.

He slams the phone down and runs his hand anxiously through his hair, " we gotta get a flight back to Leeds now " he stands up pulling my arm.

" what the fuck is going on Adam I thought you said she was safe at home " I shout.

" I thought so too but Mary and my dad they've forced her to see....James "

My whole body freezes, Luna is with her ex boyfriend who constantly belittled and controlled her. My blood runs cold, I have to get to her, I have to find her now.
