I woke up to a cool breeze, the sound of birds singing and a strong set of arms around me, i flickered my eyes open to see trees above me for a second I thought I was dreaming until realisation set in. We fell asleep last night next to the lake.

I shot up out of Dom's arms he grumbled in return at my Absence, I panic shuffle around for my phone needed to see what time it was. I find Dom's phone to see its dead, then I eventually find mine it's on 3% and I had so many missed called from Adam, Emily and Oli my heart instantly falls out of arse.

" fuck shit fucking oh no!! " I shout with startles Dom awake next to me " baby what's wrong " groggy panicked voice besides me. " its 11am we stayed here all night and Adam and Emily have been trying to contact me.

" what if he knows Dom what if he's figured out we both weren't at fucking the hotel " I stood up now shaking and shouting, anxiously running my hands through my hair.

I look at my messages

" Adams asking where you are he's been to your room I've got you covered girl don't worry "

10.14pm
" okay so don't panic but I think Adam has guessed you're with Dom me and Oli are trying to calm him down can you come back soon please "

12.40am
" Luna please pick up or come back please I'm begging you "

" no no no. This can't be happening he knows Dom he fucking knows! " I'm sobbing uncontrollably now on the verge of panicking at the thought of what Adam will do to keep me away from Dom.

Dom's pulls me into his now clothed chest his familiar scent bringing me a blanket of comfort, " don't worry about it baby I'll talk to him it's all going to be okay I promise " he runs his fingers through my hair trying to calm me down as I sob uncontrollably into his chest.

" I- I don't want to loose you " I pull out of Dom's arms checking my messages from Adam.

" Luna I love you but if you're with Dom I'll never forgive you, you promised me "

" I know you're with him. I fucking told you Luna "

And with that my phone screen goes black signalling my phone died, I turn to Dom with glossy eyes who's trying to hide his worried expression on his face.

" I promise he won't take you away from me Luna not now I know how I feel about you " he grabs my hand pulling me along the woodland path back to the rented car in a hurry.

Sitting in the passenger seat I watch the world go by almost in slow motion as Dom races back to the hotel, I wish the world would slow down. Maybe even go back to last night I felt completely safe and content in his arms, he showed me the darkest parts of him and the most softest parts and I knew I loved him.

I can't have that ripped away from me by my protective brother, I can't. I felt Dom's hand squeeze my thigh " hey baby don't worry, I'll fix this " Dom keeps telling me reassuring words but it won't stop the anxiety building up inside me.

I was so lost in my own head of last night and all my emotions I didn't notice that we had pulled up outside the hotel, Dom's complexion had gone completely pale. I've never seen him worried he was trying his best to hide it but I saw right through him and his act.

We sit there in silence for what feels like forever just staring forward into nothingness, but we are both pulled out of our daydream to a loud thud on the window.

" YOU FUCKING BASTARD I KNEW IT" Adam screams through the window at Dom, my eyes instantly prick with tears, I wish he'd let us explain, Dom doesn't even look at me getting out of the car accepting his fate.

As soon as he's out of the car adams fist comes crashing into Dom's face, I scream out in terror and jump out of the car " ADAM PLEASE DONT "

Dom doesn't fight back he lets Adam beat him, I run to Adam trying to pull him away from Dom " please Adam no, no Adam please don't hurt him "

" you lied to Luna you said you'd stay away, tell me one good reason why I shouldn't beat him until he can't walk " he spits at me, anger completely taken over him now.

" because- BECAUSE I LOVE HIM ADAM " I scream.

My words have invoked some inner demon in Adam his face scrunches up, Dom looks up at me from the floor, his lips form into a small smile with blood covering his face.

Adam pushes me out of the way gipping Dom by his shirt " YOU- YOU FUCKING BASTARD, I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY AND NOW YOUVE BRAIN WASHED HER INTO THINKING SOMEONE LIKE YOU IS CAPABLE OF LOVE " his fist connects Dom face again sending blood flying.

I let out a blood curling scream before I could run back to stop Adam two sets of arms are holding me back pulling me into the hotel, oli and Emily are pulling me away from Dom I turn my head to see Oli.

" please- please help him " I sob at Oli, he nods and makes his way over pulling Adam away from Dom and that's the last thing I saw before Emily managed to get me into the hotel room.
