Final Chapter: The ennemy of trust

(Narrator's POV)

Resare and Dragon were alone, facing Neo, who was looking at the two Huntsmen with an icy look. The criminal's gaze fell on Dragon, whom she pointed to before pointing to her throat.

"Yeah, I know I'm the one who screwed up your vocal cords, but i'll remind you that you left this on my face." Dragon growls at her, pointing to his scar. This remark did not please Neo who got into a fighting stance.

Dragon started shooting at Neo, who ran into the duo dodging the bullets. She jumps on the wall and tries to hit Dragon in the face, but Resare grabs her ankle before slamming her against the wall and punching her in the abdomen.

"You're nothing without your Semblance!" Resare growls at Neo before punching her in the face. Neo grabbed her wrist in the air before putting an umbrella blow in her abdomen, then in her cheek, making her back off.

Dragon pounces on his opponent, ready to cut her down. Neo looks at her opponent with a sneer before ducking. The faunus plants his swords in the wall, before putting his feet on it. He looks at Neo and sees a blade coming out of the end of his umbrella. A well placed blow, and he was dead.

"Crap!" The faunus growls as he leaps off the wall, dodging his opponent's attack. He lands behind Neo before parrying another blow. The faunus tries to sweep the young woman off her feet, but she leaps over Dragon before being tackled to the ground by Resare, who rolls away.

Neo looks at Resare, before looking at Dragon out of the corner of her eye. Resare lunges at Neo, who ducks, tucking her umbrella under the faunus' arm. She opens her umbrella, propelling Resare behind her.

Dragon charged at Neo, shooting at her, but the young woman hid behind her umbrella. Dragon jumps on the wall and leaps over Neo before taking a breath and spitting fire at the young woman, who disappeared, leaving behind a flaming corridor. Dragon landed next to Resare to help her up.

"That bitch is tougher than you thought, huh?" Resare asks as she grabs Dragon's arm.

" Tough, but not unbeatable. Gotta find her, she can't be far away." He replied. 

"Freeze!" A voice orders them. They turn around and come upon a group of Atlesian soldiers.

"Let's get outta here!" Resare yells before grabbing Dragon by the wrist and running away.

"Stop!" An Atlesian soldier orders the two faunus before charging after them.

(From Night's side)

The young man was on the roof of the building, weapon in hand, ready to confront Cinder, who was standing in front of him.

"You? The danger? A quite pitiful danger, then." Cinder scoffs.

"So pathetic that he's been sticking you with defeat after defeat for the last three years. Do you remember the two I gave you when I was still in Pharos? Of course not, you must have a very short memory to keep underestimating me like that. Your powers didn't get you my victory in Haven." Night provokes. Cinder looks at Night in anger before activating his powers and lunging at him.

"Here we go." Night mutters before turning Shotgunblade into a sword. Cinder creates a sword with her Semblance and tries to decapitate Night, who turns into smoke, passes over her before trying to hit her with her sword, which buries itself in the ground.

Cinder stops her assault with a roll before turning to Night and creating a second blade with her Semblance. The young man pulls his sword off the ground and presses the button near his thumb to detach the blade from his sword and catch it in flight. Cinder throws herself at Night again, who parries two blows before moving behind his opponent and kicking her. The young man throws himself on Cinder, ready to cut her in three, but the Maiden parries his attacks.
