Chapter 16: The party is over

(Narrator's POV)

Night stood in front of Jacques, his Huntsman's license in his hand.

"Do you really think your License is going to protect you? All I have to do is get through one line and they'll take it away from you!" Jacques threatens before Night grabs him by the collar and drags him to the ground.

"Go ahead, keep threatening me all you want, it won't change the problem. In any case, we'll go back to the General." Night replied.

"Wh-what?" Jacques asks.

"You heard me right, and believe me, you're not out of your depth." Night replied before throwing the man in white in front of his bike. "You get on, and you better hold on to me because if you don't, I'll turn around and come back for you." He warns.

"O-ok." Jacques replied fearfully before Night got on his bike and hit the gas.

(Later)

It seemed to be quiet in the manor, that is, until Night kicked the door open and held Jacques by the collar.

"Okay, everyone, the party is over! Please leave the mansion as soon as possible!" The young man ordered the guests. Everyone was shocked to see Jacques Schnee in handcuffs. The dark one enters the dining room where the rest of the RWBY and KNRD teams were waiting for the young man.

"You're back!" Luka tells him.

"Yeah, and I'll bring that sucker back to you." He replied before grabbing a chair, putting it by a window and seating Schnee in it and walking away. General Ironwood approached the traitor with his arms crossed. Luka, Robyn, Clover, Winter and the advisors surrounded Jacques. Someone tried to contact Clover via earpiece. The Ace Ops leader left the room.

"I knew you'd stoop low to get what you wanted, Jacques. But this?" The general said to the traitor in a bitter tone.

"This is all a great leap, James." Schnee replies.

"The only great leap I see, is that you keep denying when you know you're screwed." Luka tells him.

"Now that I know Arthur Watts is alive, working with a madman like Tyrian Callows, it would be easy for someone like him to coordiantee an unthinkably heinous act like the one in that warehouse. Watts designed Mantle's entire security network. He used that access to hack the surveillance system and frame someone else for the job." The general said before looking at Penny, who was standing next to Ruby.

"All while stealing an election. And once you became a Councilman, your newly granted clearance gave him a backdoor into Atlas' secure network" The general adds as he approaches the chair and places his hands on the armrests. "But you probably hadn't even considered that, had you?" He asks the traitor, who didn't answered.

"The people that died that night, their blood is on your hands." Robyn growls at him.

"Jacques Schnee must be tried. Not only for treason, but as an accessory to murder." Councilman Sleet states.

"These are outrageous accusations! I only intended to win the election, I have nothing to do--"

"ONLY?!" Robyn yells as she throws a chair against the wall. Camillia and Sleet exchange a look:

"What else will he be able to do with the access Jacques' given him?" Camilla asks the General.

"With enough time...whatever he wants." Ironwood replied. The Scrolls of the Councilmens and the General vibrated. Sleet took a call:

"Wait... Wait, what? What do you mean the heat has gone off?" He asks his caller, shocking the entire room.

"You have to believe me: I didn't know he was planning this." Schnee fought back before Luka came up to stick his fist in his face.
