"Derek, when does Amy's show moment start?" Meredith asked as she was changing clothes

"We have to leave in half an hour" Derek said and wrapped his arms around her waist

"Derek-" She giggles "Come on, I have to get ready"

"But I want some time with my wife and baby" He whines

"Wife?" Meredith giggles as she put on her shirt

"One day, Mer" Derek kissed her temple

"One day" She breathes in pleasure and leans into his kiss "I love you so so much"

"I love you too, Mer" Derek kissed Meredith's lips softly and helped her into her pair of leggings, noticing her hip was still bothering her

"Thanks" She breathed and quickly put on a pair of sneakers "Let's go" She smiled and grabbed his hand, walking out if the room, her limp still noticeable

"I really think you should see someone for your hip, Mer" Derek pointed out

"Not again, Derek" She quickly said and let go of his hand

"Hey guys! Are you ready? I was thinking to leave early so we can stop at Starbucks for something sweet" Carolyn winked at Meredith

"Oh Carolyn-" She wanted to say no as she wanted to save every dollar possible

"It's my treat, honey. I want my grandchild to be spoiled already" Carolyn laughs and rubs Meredith's back

"Are you sure?" Meredith frowned. A week ago she had talked to Carolyn about her living with the Shepherds. They had agreed that Meredith would save her money for the baby

"Very sure, sweetheart" Carolyn smiled "Now let's go and then we can go watch Amelia perform"

Meredith was sipping her refresher cup, she had been obsessed with their new refreshing drink and was happy with the treat but now she had to pee, she felt her baby jumping up and down her bladder and wanted to empty before the performance would start

She ran into a stall as she heard some people talking

"Did you notice? Amelia's brother is expecting a baby. He and his girlfriend are still kids!" The woman gasped

"I saw and she isn't even hiding it" The other woman scoffed

Meredith sat down on the toilet and tried to ignore them. She waited until they were gone before she left the stall and washed her hands, making her way back inside

"Der, can I have your sweater?" Meredith quietly asked him

"Of course" He smiled and handed the sweater to her "Are you cold?" He asked as he watched it slip over her head

"Yeah" She breathed and tried to hide her stomach

"How's our little bean?" Derek asked her

"She's okay" Meredith quietly said and grabbed his hand, taking it off her stomach

"Are you okay?" He frowned

"Yeah" Meredith breathed as the lights started dimming "It's gonna start" She breathed but couldn't really focus as her thoughts slipped off to what those two women were saying earlier

"Amy!!" Mark cheered and pulled Meredith out of her thoughts, letting her now focus on Amelia

"Mer! Did you like it?" Amelia jumped up and down in front of Meredith after the performance

"You did amazing" Meredith smiled

"Do you think?" Amelia kept jumping up and down

"Yes sweetie, you were amazing" Meredith smiled but winced as her hip hurt from sitting so long on very uncomfortable chairs

"You did so good!" Mark smiled and started tickling his little sister "But I would have done it ever better" He laughed

"Mark could never! He's just jealous, Amy" Derek assured his sister

"Dance battle!" Amelia screamed, causing a lot of people to watch them

Meredith was hiding in the large sweater as she didn't want to be seen. She would never feel shame for her daughter but she was ashamed of herself. Would she be a good mother? She could ruin her perfect baby and was terrified for it

"Hey sweetie, are you okay?" Carolyn noticed something was up

"Yeah" Meredith breathed but her body language gave away that something was up

"Mommy, can we go home now? I'm starving!" Amelia widely smiled

"Of course, sweetie! I was thinking of having fries and burgers, what do you guys think?" Carolyn asked them as she was concerned about what was going on

"Yes! Yes! Yes! You're the best!" Amelia hugged her mother "Come on!" She pulled at her brother's hands

"Yes Amy, we're coming" Derek chuckled and then turned to Meredith "Aren't you excited?"

"Of course" Meredith forced a smile on her face and held Derek's hand in his own

"Der, you really need to take fries instead of a salad" Amy scrunched her nose

"He's just scared he'll lose his looks if he eats fries" Mark laughed

"I just don't enjoy burgers and fries" He shrugged

"Mer, I hope your daughter will look like you" Mark laughed

"Oh-" Meredith nodded as she stroke her stomach after looking around to see if there was anyone else around

"It's okay, Mer. Markie's just joking" Amy rolled her eyes "But he isn't funny" Derek started laughing at Amelia's comment "You're not funny either, Der" She giggled

"Oh I see.. girl power, heh?" Derek smirked at Meredith

"It's 3 against 2" Mark laughed

"4, don't forget our little bean" Meredith smiled as she looked into Derek's eyes

"You guys win" Derek smiled and kissed Meredith's lips as he helped her into the car

"Love you" Meredith breathed and rested her head on his chest

"Love you too, baby" He brushed his fingers through her hair
