laugh as the sun shines in the sweetest July,
You are tears of joy as rain is the drizzle from the sky,
You could do no harm in my eyes.
If someone asked me on my saddest days, what's one word for you,
I'd say--you, because you are hardly defined by words.
Their greatest struggle is to define you,
But writer-me, I try anyway.
And if there is one thing I would claim they do portray,
Is that you could do no wrong in my eyes.
Funny. Warm hugs. Nice smile.
Sunshine to my days.
Dirty jokes. Your lover stories. Food.
Highlight of my nights.
Determined. Fast pace walking. Honest.
Source of my good-mood thoughts.
Defiant. Sometimes sad. Sometimes bubbly.
The change of fate.
If I'm laughing,
I want to share the joke with you, Penina.
If I'm angry,
I want to be angry with you.
And if that sounds too grandiose, Penina,
You can tell me that.
You do no harm in my eyes.
A kind of earthly angel,
A godly human sacrifice
For all the things in the world to remain nice.
