I've had my fun today,
Enjoyed the life I've led,
But right now I'm ready to go to bed.
I've ate my scrumptious meal,
Talked for a deal,
And now it is time for me to drop down my head.
I've shared some laughs, told some jokes,
Until the morning, this will be the last that I see my folks,
I am ready to go to bed.
No more sweet voices crooning in my ears,
Because the lullaby of sleep can alleviate all my fears,
I am coming to bed.
Just thought I'd put out one last thought...
Get it out of my head.
Good night guys, sweet dreams,
I am going to bed.
