I'm stuck admiring you from afar,
loving you just the way you are
and here I am again
wishing upon a shooting star.Hoping that you'll be the one,
to hold my hand as we run,
and show me a ring
in front of the setting sun.But I'm not the princess in your story,
you'll never see me,
the way I see you,
that is the cruel reality. My well of thoughts echoed my fears,
as I drown in the river of my tears
The weight in my chest aches,
as the silent night deafens my ears.I would move a mountain for you,
I'd give every piece of me too,
but I'm still not the one you want,
no matter what I do.Now I'm stuck with pain,
sitting here in vain,
with this image of us
dancing under the rain.
