Bad! Bad!

Screams the frightened lad,
to a lady wrapped in a cloth she had.
running back to his dad,
scared, misinformed, and mad.

Liar! Liar!

the kid called the preacher,
spreading the word of the teacher
he screams, denying the lecture,
refusing with a bad gesture.

Help me! Help me!

Now, cries the kid helplessly
Terrified of the shadow of the dancing tree,
luckily someone helped him see,
"It was only a figure." said the clothed lady.

Pain! Pain!

The kid was left in vain,
lost in his way, comforted by the rain.
The preacher gave wisdom without disdain,
the void was filled with the hope he gained.

No! No!

He didn't know,
these people weren't a foe,
they're different and so,
he realized, there he started to grow

So enough! enough!

We all have different and unique stuff
Clearly, seeing this is indeed tough
but it is not something we could shake off,
nor a small dirt we can get rid of.

We must end! end!

end the misinformation we send,
discrimination shouldn't be used to defend,
the belief that differs in the religion we tend
and it's faith where our hopes depend.

Fight! Fight!

Fighting over who's wrong and right,
which appearances bring fright,
different perspective means loss of sight,
is that the story we want to write?

Is it? is it?

is it the kind of torch we want lit?
is it the mindset that we want to fit?
in the world where our children sit,
How can we be silent and not quit?

We must raise! raise!

Raise our voice for greater days,
Choose to give more praise,
respect each belief, religion, and face.
Let's spread awareness and exit the maze.
