When Life Gives You...

The calm and peaceful state of Prince Manor, where it's occupants were deep in their sleep, ruined by the loud sound of crashing. Disturbing the occupants from their sleep.

Scilla, Severus, Regulus, Sirius, and Remus all groaned and covered their heads with pillow, knowing exactly what caused it. This was proven by the loud cheerful voice followed by the clanging of a spatula hitting a pot.

"Good morning, living people!!! It is time to start another new day in vigor!!"

Scilla's door was opened and came the translucent figure of James Potter holding a pot and spatula, grinning like an idiot. Lily, who sat by her daughter's bed was glaring at her husband.

Scilla uncovered her face and glance at the sky outside, before looking at her biological father.

"Daddy... Do you have any idea what time it is?" She deadpanned.

"I do not, for I have no clock with me."

"Then how do you know it's morning?"

"The sun of course!"

Both Scilla and Lily looked outside the window once again and sent a deadpan stare at James.

"Daddy, I know your vision is bad, but I didn't realize it was on the verge of blindness."

Again Scilla glanced at the still dark sky outside to prove her point. Not a single sunlight could be seen on the horizon.

"Just wait for half an hour and the sun will be out. I think.." James said sheepishly.

"Merlin.." Scilla sighed.

The raven head girl fall back down on her bed, contemplating whether or not she should send her father back to the underworld. Sirius came barging in and grabbed James collar tightly, shaking him back and forth.

"Prongs you bloody bastard! I swear if you do that again I will make Scilla send you back to hell!! And I will laugh at your grave like a maniac."

James was grinning at his half asleep best friend/brother. It was rare for Sirius to be this annoyed. So James felt a sense of pride for making Sirius Black angry.

A month ago, after lots of complaints from James, Scilla brought James and Lily to the Land of Living and make them visible to the living. Not only that, Scilla made them almost physical, others can touch them and they can touch anything and anyone.

Scilla knew how much James and Lily wished to be able to hug their friends. Currently, only the occupants of Prince Manor know about them.

"Shouldn't you guys be excited? We're spending time in Diagon today!"

Sirius grabbed James' shoulder and smiled, saying one word.

"No."

Sirius went back to his and Remus' bedroom to complain to his lover. Leaving Scilla to deal with her father.

"Daddy.. I Know you're excited, but can't you wait for another hour or two?"

James pouted at his daughter and dropped the pot and spatula. Scilla patted the empty spot beside her. Once James laid down beside her, Scilla hugged the translucent body of James and went back to sleep. James softly rubbed her back.

"Happy birthday, bambi." James kissed the top of her head lovingly. Scilla smiled and hum happily.

Diagon Alley, as always, packed with people of all age. Scilla glanced at the crowd with distaste.

James and Lily, only visible to the five occupants of Prince Manor, happily took in the changes in Diagon Alley. Regulus, under heavy glamour, also happily looked around the alley he hadn't visited in decade.

"So, where are we going?" Sirius bounced and will probably ran off with James if Remus didn't hold his hand.

"I thought you said you're not excited to come here, Papa."

"I said I'm not excited to come here at 4 in the morning." The Potter father and daughter merely rolled their eyes.

They decided that the three marauders will go check the Quality Quidditch Supplies, since two of them were complete quidditch head, while the other four will go check the apothecary first, both Scilla and Severus needed new ingredients after they almost used up all of their ingredients in an experiment.

They will meet up in the Leaky Cauldron and went to a nice restaurant located in the end of Diagon Alley, close to Knockturn.

When they're sure James and Sirius understood, they let the two man child go, leaving Remus to watch over them.

"What exactly are you planning on making? I heard multiple explosions already." Regulus asked curiously.

Scilla motioned for Regulus to come and whispered in his ear. Regulus' eyes went wide and he looked at Severus, who shows a slight smile, in disbelief.

"That's possible?"

"I thought you know already, that when it comes to me nothing is impossible." Scilla boasted proudly garnering a chuckle from the three adults.

"Of course, baby." Lily patted her head fondly.

After they spent a generous amount of money, they went to Flourish and Blotts for Lily. Scilla also need new material to read anyway.

"Dad." Scilla tugged at Severus' sleeve.

"Yes?"

"Can I go for Florean first?"

"Alright, do you want me to-"

"No. I'll see you at Leaky Cauldron." Scilla waved and went to Florean Fortesque.

Once she got her ice cream, she unhurriedly walked to the Leaky Cauldron, avoiding the crowd easily thanks to her small body.

Halfway through her walk, she noticed something. Someone has been following her. They were so silent she almost didn't noticed it.

She make a turn and went further away from the Leaky Cauldron, towards the Knockturn Alley. As expected, her pursuer still on her tail.

She dived into the crowd trying to lose them but they seem persistent. Scilla clicked her tongue in annoyance and finally dove into a dark deserted small alleyway in Knockturn.

She hid in the shadow and wait for her stalker to come into view. Two figure emerged and looked around for the small 13 year old girl.

Scilla whipped her wand amd pointed it at one of her pursuers' neck. Saying dangerously,

"What do you want?"

The one on her wand's end raise their hand in surrender gesture. They slowly turn her way. And at that moment, the sun shone the alleyway briefly, showing her the face of her pursuers.

"Merlin.." She sighed.
