*Please don't try this at home. It's a terrible idea, that's not going to work. This is a completly made up story. Any recreation would lead to death, without a chance of being brought back to life.*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Death is one of the most terrifying and curious thing to humanity.
We fear to met our end, because of not knowing what comes after. But the fact it's unknown also brings a great debate.
Is life after death real? Are we going to reincarnate in another body? Heaven, hell? Or just nothing, like when we are sleeping?
Me and my friends had that question for a long time. And despite the fact we knew it was a stupid idea, we wanted to try it.
One of us was going to die.
For just a few seconds, before the others bring them back, or at least try.
We all new the risks. The person in question will have a letter prepared, saying goodbye. And we wouldn't talk about it again.
I volunteered. Not sure why.
My life is good and I don't have any problems. But something about what comes after talks louder.
The day came.
We had all prepared. My friends knew CPR and the defibrillator was there, just in case.
Dying is awful. The feeling of your body shutting down, without us having any control.
I could hear my friends counting the seconds before all went black.
I didn't felt nothing for a while, just peace. Like I was falling asleep.
But then a mechanic voice said "Welcome back player ****. Your journey on Earth ended. Returning to the lobby." .
I felt something pulling me and all of the sudden I was back again.
They all gather around me, wanting for the shock to pass.
Was it a dream, allucination? Part of my brain dying?
- Nothing. There's nothing.
I couldn't tell them the truth. I didn't even knew if it was the truth.
But one thing is for sure, I don't wanna go there again.
