Amada POV
I moved my head over, laying it on Liam's chest as he wrapped an arm around my body. He took his other hand, brushing hair out of my face.
I fell asleep soon after, the steady thumping of his heartbeat under my ear.
When I woke up hours later, he was still there and I panicked.
I lifted my head, looking at the clock on the bedside table. It was two thirty.
I turned my phone flashlight on, lifting it up to point to the ceiling so I could see better.
"Amada," he groaned sleepily from all the movement, "What's wrong?"
"You have to go, you're dad must be so worried." I told him, the words coming out in a rush.
"He doesn't even know I left." he mumbled, his eyes still closed.
"What?" I asked, shocked. I lifted my head and resting my chin on his chest as I looked up at him.
He opened his eyes then, dark brown beauties meeting my blue ones, and then he smiled. He shrugged lightly, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear and then ruffling his own.
"I wanted to see you." he whispered.
"It's only been three days since we last saw each other." I replied in a whisper too.
"Three days too long." was his response, "I liked it when I got to see you everyday."
"Did you drive yourself?" I asked suddenly, changing the topic.
He simply nodded, guiding my head to rest it on his chest again.
"Don't worry, I'll leave before your parents get up. I promise." he said.
And he followed through with that promise. When I woke up again he wasn't there. He'd texted me though, reminding me to lock my window again.
I couldn't help but smile as I sent him a message back.

Third Person POV
"Hi, mama, how are you doing?" the nurse greeted as Lana walked inside the room.
She sighed, "I'm okay."
"Out of breath?"
Lana nodded, as Sean helped her settle on the examination table, "And it doesn't help that the elevator is under maintenance right now and I had to walk up three sets of stairs."
"I apologize for the inconvenience, it should be fixed by the time you leave though, I was told they're almost finished." the nurse said, opening a file on the computer. "So, we're at 28 weeks and 3 days, correct?"
Lana nodded.
"Well, that's exciting, you're in your third trimester." The nurse continued.
Lana smiled as Mila kicked, as if to show she was excited to.
"Baby has been active?" the nurse asked.
"Yes, very active, but she's been finding a schedule, like you mentioned last time. She sleeps sometimes, but is awake and very active other times." Lana replied.
"Perfect. That's what I love to hear. And what about you? Any new symptoms?" she asked, as she began to measure the growth of Lana's bump since the last visit.
"Yes." Sean answered for Lana.
She sent a slight glare over to him as he raised his eyebrows at her, knowing she wouldn't tell the nurse unless he brought it up first.
