6.The Grand Night Pt.2

The couple had walked down the stairs where Mr and Mrs.Afton had awaited then for the blessing.Once Y/N and Michael reached the bottom,both of them bowed as Mrs.Afton began the blessing by placing a crown on her son and the young lady,Mr.Afton then continued by introducing the couple to their guests."Ladies and gentlemen,We The Afton's,give our blessing to Michael Afton and Y/N L/N,the new couple and the next generation of our ongoing family.May the couple be blessed with good fortune,health and love!"

The crowd all stood up cheering for the couple,both Michael and Y/n were very happy,they couldn't stop smiling while looking at each other."You look lovely my love" ,Michael complimented the young lady,she replied,"Thank you dear" .Soon William shouted,"Let's get this show on the road! Music!" ,a small orchestra had started playing,The Afton's exchanged hugs congratulating the couple before Y/n got to meet the rest of the family and relatives.

Michael's POV

I really can't believe this is happening,I'm standing here with the most beautiful woman,with such a charismatic personality.Things are moving quite fast,I don't want Y/n to think she is forced to move fast as well.Father will nag at me but I'd rather take things slower,just so I can truly get to know her.I'll be sure to take care of here from here on out,give her the best of what I have to offer.Mother really loves Y/n,though she doesn't talk much,I can tell she is very happy for us.Father also loves her,his excitement towards meeting her has gone through the roof.Regardless,I want to enjoy the rest of the night with her, I've fallen head over heels for her!

Normal POV

The young lady was spending time getting to know The Afton Family,she was warmly welcomed by many of his family.She would have conversations with aunt's,spilling tea and getting to spend time with his grandparents.His uncle's were busy playing around with Michael and catching up on life.Mrs.Afton was also with the aunt's having a glass of wine,though strangely she was actually talking,the young lady was curious how her voice sounded but rather not interrupt since they were on the other side of the dancefloor.

Dinner

The couple was seated at their table, separately from everyone so all eyes could be on them.Mr and Mrs.Afton had a table next to the couple but too close,soon,the butlers began serving the couple and the guests.On the menu,included favorite foods by the couple specifically chosen,a choice of fine wine and champagne,dessert was also a couples favorite.Before eating,Michael stood up taping the wine glass with a spoon.All eyes played upon the couple,he cleared his throat and began speaking."I would like to thank everyone who took their personal time and made the effort to visit the estate,this ball couldn't have been done without you.And of course,my dearest,Y/n",he held a hand out for the young lady to take.Soon she stood up next to him,"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you,we received the blessing as a loving couple and will continue to be together through the good and bad" .Michael then placed a hand behind Y/n's waist,pulling her in gently for a kiss.Soon pulling away with a smile and shouting ,"Cheers!" . Everyone cheered as they made the toast to the couple,keep in mind Michael's family is big on parties,they will shout,cheer and scream in excitement.Then,the guests got busy eating, enjoying the finest foods and wine they could endulge in.

Much Later Into the Ball

The party continued as guests would dance with one another, Mr.Afton was also enjoying himself with Mrs.Afton dancing. Michael had noticed Y/n was cleaning up the table they were seated in, he went up to approach her gently placing a hand on her shoulder. "Y/n,my dear,don't worry about that for now it's alright.Please let us enjoy the night,may I?" ,he extended a hand for the young lady to take,she would reply happily ,"Of course Michael", she took his hand as they both went to the dancefloor. The family made enough space for the lovely couple to dance, both Y/n and Michael stood in the middle of the dancefloor,gazing into each other's eyes.The guests would admire the couple in awe,Mr. and Mrs.Afton were very happy to see the couple have all of the attention. Michael placed one of his hands gently on Y/n's waist as he held her hand on the other,the young lady felt flustered but laughed it off. Soon,the music started playing,the lights would dim as a single light would shine towards the couple. Michael was head over heels for Y/n, he couldn't break eye contact with her throughout the whole dance. The young lady was impressed by how well Michael danced, he made sure to give her some space and not grasp her tightly. Towards the end of the dance, Michael had pulled Y/n a little closer to him, lifting her chin up to look at him. She was surprised as he went in for a kiss, this time it was with more passion,though the guests would cheer for the couple, she felt butterflies in her stomach. Michael then pulled away with a slight smirk,"Gotcha", the young lady laughed a bit as he did too. The music had ended and the audience couldn't help but continue to party,the dancefloor would fill up with guests as Michael held onto Y/n to make sure she was alright, they both laughed as they continued to dance along with the Afton's.

A Couple Hours Later

The ball continued as family members still celebrated , Mr.Afton had a couple drinks and would dance like there was no tomorrow. While Mrs.Afton would giggle quietly as her husband entertained her. Michael was next to Y/n the whole night, he felt comfortable around her,and he would make sure she was comfortable during the ball. Y/n did feel a bit dizzy, she asked Michael if she could step outside the garden for a bit to get some fresh air. Michael gladly said yes,just as long as she doesn't go too far deep.The young lady would make her way to the backdoor to the garden,opening the doors and gently closing it.Inhaling a huge amount of fresh air,she felt much better,she has enjoyed the night like no other.She couldn't stop thinking about Michael being such a huge gentleman to her,treating her with much respect and love.

Steps could be heard from the stairs at the bottom of the garden,the young lady was very quiet and attentive.She remained calm and still, worried about what or who could be approaching her. A tall figure could be seen,Y/n wanted to scream but kept quiet,taking small steps back.They spoke to her,"Don't move". She was frightened,she wasn't able to move,she would rather not risk her life and remain still.The tall figure would soon reach Y/n, he would loom over her, he would look at her eyes and caress her cheek with his cold hands,the man spoke,"Who do we have here?"
