5.The Grand Night Pt.1

The Next Day

Y/n had woken up a bit late,still reminiscing the events from last night.She smiled thinking about Michael,he was very gentle with her, respectful,kind and very honest about his opinions and even respects Y/n's opinion when it came to certain topics.He was very dreamy indeed,his soft smile,his eyes intimidating yet so addictive to look into,and overall the kind of man any woman would kill for.With a smile on her face,she had gotten up to go the bathroom and get started off the day.A couple of minutes later someone knocked the door,Y/n was still in her nightgown,soon getting her robe to cover up.William's voice can be heard,"Rise and shine dear! Today is a special day! Please open the door!". The young lady opened the door to see Mr and Mrs Afton,William had bursted into her bedroom shouting,"My my! I have good news to tell you Y/n!" ,soon Mrs.Afton followed along,giving the young lady a gentle hug as her way of saying good morning.Y/n was delighted as she responded to William, "What's happening today Mr.Afton?". He held both of Y/n's hands and answered,"I noticed how happy you and my son were yesterday so,me and Mrs.Afton have decided to celebrate the start of a loving relationship ". The young lady smiled,as he continues,"Therefore,today we are hosting a grand ball here at the Afton Estate!" .Y/n was too stunned to speak,she was thrilled with excitement."Oh my! I really should thank you Mr and Mrs.Afton,you have raised a fine young man". Both William and Mrs.Afton gave the young lady a warm hug before pulling apart,Mrs.Afton had pointed to the door for Y/n to look.Before her stood a group of maids,each one holding many dresses, accessories,shoes and diamonds of every color.The young lady was surprised,they were being very serious of this grand ball tonight.William assured Y/n,"I want you and my son to stand out tonight,I want everyone to know how happy you both are,please choose anything you'd like,the rest you get to keep!".Both Mr and Mrs Afton had waved goodbye before leaving her room.

Evening

The young lady wasn't allowed to see Michael until the ball started,she felt butterflies,and was excited how the night will go.She had chosen a beautiful dress(your color choice,I liked this style),along with her heels,her choice of diamonds,her hair styled as she desired as well as her makeup.

Everyone has been super busy organizing and preparing for the ball.Mr.Afton has assured Y/n,that he will come by for her,so that Michael can walk her down the stairs to start the ceremony.

Minutes Before the Ball

The young lady sat near her window, preparing herself for the entrance and awaiting William.She ponders how well this life has treated her,it was worth it.Soon a knock was heard,William had shouted,"I'm here love!".The young lady stood up as she opened the door to see Mr.Afton all dressed up in a nice fancy suit.He gasped covering his mouth,"Y/n...you look so beautiful my dear!" ,the young lady smiled,"Thank you sir" .He was above thrilled to see her,he started adjusting her dress where the trail began."Oh my goodness! You really outdid yourself young lady! You are going to stand out from everyone out there" . William had adjusted his tie and he held his hand out for Y/n to take,"Shall we?" ,the young lady held onto his arm responding,"Yes Mr.Afton".

You could tell William was happy for the loving couple,he mentioned to the young lady,"I'm honestly relieved,you and Michael will have a blooming relationship,I just know it dear". Y/n smiled warmly as she responded,"I too am looking forward for the future Mr.Afton" .Soon William had stopped and whispered,"Look who's in front of us dear" ,the young lady was surprised,it was Michael,he had his back turned as Mrs.Afton was doing some finishing touches.She then walked to where William and Y/n stood.Mrs.Afton was delighted to see the young lady,she clasped her hands together and gave her a hug followed by a kiss on the cheek.William and Mrs.Afton stood before her, quietly walking to the ballroom.

Y/n took a deep breath as she walked towards Michael,upon reaching him,she poked at his back as he turned to look at her.Michael had instantly blushed upon seeing Y/n.The young lady too blushed,he was very handsome.

He wore a very nice uniform,lots of gold embellishments and along side some white gloves.
Michael held both of her hands,"You look beautiful Y/n,I'm so lucky to have someone like you in my life".Followed by a small and gentle kiss,Y/n responded,"Thank you Michael,you also look very handsome" .He placed kisses on the back of her hands before pulling her in for a warm hug.Her arms around his neck as Michael's were on her waist.Both of their heartbeats beating at the same time,it was a moment appreciating each other.Michael would kiss her cheek as he pulled away,he was a blushing mess,"Tonight we celebrate the start of our journey,our life spent together and embracing each other.I can't wait to see what the future holds for us my love". The young lady smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek,"I'm looking forward to spending my life with you Michael" .He put his hand were hers were as he kissed her palm,"I love you Y/n", she responded,"I love you too Michael".

Music Starts Playing

Michael and Y/n looked at each other,"I believe it's time my love" ,he wore his white gloves and held his arm out for the young lady.She grab a hold of him as she responded,"I'm ready dear".The couple had walked the hallways until finally reaching the ballroom.

The ballroom was covered in many flowers,the lights were dimmed we're one can still see,but not too bright as well.Many candles were lit around the area,near the bottom of the stairs, stood Mr and Mrs.Afton,waiting to receive their blessing.Soon the couple was in the middle of the stairway,upon them,family,relatives and many others had gathered to attend the grand ball.

This,ladies and gentlemen,was the beginning of Y/n's life,full of love and happiness.

Or so one assumes.
