Your POV

"H-how do you know this?" I asked, trying to hold back my laughter.

"Didn't you mention "pabebe" back then? I searched it up and the first thing that came up was this." He explained and did another wave.

Humayghad.

[T: Oh my god]

"Pfft- HAHAHHAHA stop stop." I said, unable to hold my laughter while trying to stop him from repeating the action.

This went on for a while until I was almost out of breath. I began to explain the context of it and he shrugged it off like it was nothing but I know he was embarrassed just by looking at his ears which had a reddish hue.

I was kind enough not to tease him today but I will do it in the future.

"Alright, setting that aside for now. You seem to come early today, are you done with work?" I asked as I admired the beautiful flowers he gave me.

I looked back at him eating the egg pudding I made for him with a satisfied expression. He won't admit it but he obviously has a sweet tooth.

"I finished my work early so I can see you." He said as I sat beside him.

Ay wow, ginawa akong motivation. Napasobra ata yung tamis ng pagkain neto kaya naging sweet na din mga salita niya. Baka ako pa maunang magkadiabetes neto.

[T: Oh wow, he made me a motivation. I think his food was too sweet that it made him such a sweet talker. I'll be the one to have diabetes at this point.]

"But you could've just taken things slower and not to stress yourself out. You could've also waited for me at home." I said, leaning my chin on my hand.

He stopped eating and looked down before looking at me. His eyes were filled with unexplainable emotions that even I cannot read.

"Home..." He muttered while I raised a brow.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Manjiro?" I asked with concern.

"You're my home, Lulu-chin." He said, setting the plate aside and slowly holding my hand. I was silent, looking at him with surprised eyes and a heart that was beating quickly by his sweet words.

"Lulu-chin, when the day comes when you hate me, it would be the day that I'll be lost again." He said and kissed my palm so gently.

My surprised expression turned to a deadpanned expression after he said those words. I pulled away his hand from him and held his shoulder as I looked him dead in the eyes.

He was surprised as I put my hand on his forehead, checking if he had a fever.

"Lulu-chin?" He asked as I backed away, crossing my arms on my chest.

"Alright, tell me honestly, Manjiro. Did you hit your head?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"Oo, Hindi?" I asked as I squint my eyes. His reaction looked like he just had some sort of deja vu but after that, he told me that he didn't.

[T: Yes, No?]

"Why are you asking about that?" He asked while I sighed.

"What makes you think that I'll ever hate you?" I asked as I slouched back to my seat.

"Many things" He muttered while looking away from me until he eventually turned his back on me.

"And those are?" I asked but he stayed silent.

I sighed again and jumped on his back and gave him a hug and kiss on his cheek before I nuzzled my face on the crook of his neck.

Amoy mamahalin.
