Hermione's view

My time being at Malfoy Manor was amazing, I have spent most of it in the library, the garden or in the bedroom. I got to know Narcissa more when I was in the library, she would come have tea with me in the morning when I was in there. I went to my first appointment at St Mungo's the other week to find out I was about 10 weeks along weeks along meaning I'm still in my first trimester. The due date is the 2nd of September, which is after we graduate. I sent an owl to Headmaster McGonagall last week to inform her of our news. She was shocked about the fact that I was both engaged as well as pregnant. She is thankful I am in my own part of the castle as I will be going through a lot of changes. She has made changes so that I don't have to do rounds anymore, she also has placed a fridge in our dorm so that I can have some food and don't need to come down for meals in the Great Hall.

I also can be excused from classes if I need to, as can Draco as he will be taking care of me. If he is ever needed and I need someone I am able to ask Ginny, Harry, or Luna to come help me. We arrive at the train station with all of the other students to head back to Hogwarts. I try finding Harry, Ginny, Neville, and Luna so we can all sit in a cabin together on the way to Hogwarts. We could not find them standing at the platform, so I assume we are on the train. We move through the train finding them sitting together in a cabin. "Hey guys," I say walking into the cabin. "Hi Hermione, hey Draco," Ginny and Luna chime in together. We take our seats before chatting with everyone on the way to Hogwarts.

We are almost there when Ron comes to stand in the doorway of our cabin. "So, are the rumours true? Are you two married and having a bastard?" Ron hisses out. "We are engaged, but do not call our unborn child a bastard, okay just because it isn't yours," Draco says standing up in front of Ron. "Both of you stop it," I say angrily from my seat, "Ron if you have nothing nice to say just fuck off and leave us alone". I stand up and grab Draco moving him to sit down, then pushing Ron out of the doorway, closing the doors and locking them. I ignore Ron standing outside the doors; before he huffs and walks off. I turn around to face everyone else and Ginny smiles at me. I sit down and Harry says, "So are you going to be okay to get through school whilst being pregnant?" "Yes, I will be perfectly fine okay, I know how to handle myself," I say before resting my head on Draco's shoulder, closing my eyes to rest till we get to Hogwarts.

"Hermione," Draco says softly into my ear, "we are at Hogwarts, you need to get off the train". I snap my head up and quickly walk out of the train dragging Draco behind me. "Hermione, slow down, we will make it to Hogwarts in time for dinner", Draco calls from behind me. "Well, I just don't want to miss dinner, I'm starving. I am eating for two now," I say. We get into one of the carriages taking us to Hogwarts. Once inside we walk through the halls hand in hand. We burst through the doors of the Great Hall, and everyone turns to look at us. Everyone turns back to McGonagall that is standing at the front of the Great Hall. "Thank you, Hermione and Draco for finally arriving. As I was about to say I would like to congratulate our head boy and head girl on their fantastic news of being both engaged as well as being pregnant," Headmaster McGonagall beams through the Great Hall as we take our seats. Instead of Draco going to sit at the Slytherin table he continues to hold my hand as we move to the Gryffindor table sitting down next to Harry and Ginny.

McGonagall then moves to sit back down, and dinner is served. Without thinking I begin eating, eating as much as I can, since I am starving. "Hermione, slow down," Ginny giggles. "Sorry, I just feel like I haven't eaten since yesterday," I reply. I continue to eat hearing conversations around me about Draco and me, I try to ignore them. Once dinner is finished, I stay seated to wait for all of the other students to leave the hall before making my way to my dorm. Some students come to congratulate us on their way out of the Great Hall.

Once the students have left, we stand up, before McGonagall comes over to personally congratulate us, giving us both a hug. We thank her before heading to our dorm saying goodnight to Harry, Ginny, Luna, and Neville. When we get back to our dorm, I take off my uniform, then put on one of Draco's shirts. I go into the library to read. Draco then sticks his head through the doorway of the library saying, "Hermione, are you in here?" "Yes, I'm in the back reading on the couch," I reply. "We should talk about the baby as well as our wedding," Draco says sitting down next to me. "Well, I have done some thinking, I would like to get married in the Gazebo in your mothers flower garden. I was thinking we could get married maybe just after we graduate before the baby arrives. I have asked your mother if this is okay, and she said yes. I only want a small wedding, so I would like Harry, Ginny, Luna, Neville, plus McGonagall, maybe Hagrid and definitely the Weasley family. Who would you like to invite?" I say in one mouthful. "Well, my mother, Theo, Blaise, and a few other close family friends. We could get married the week after we graduate or we could wait until the baby is born when it is autumn or we could get married earlier in spring before exams, since the week after we graduate is summer and you are going to melt in a wedding dress," Draco says making a good point. I think for a few minutes before saying, "why don't we get married in March because then I'm halfway along, it will still be a little cool and the flowers will be blooming in your mother's flower garden. That gives us two months to get everything organised, since it is only a small wedding, we only really have to organise our outfits, plus the garden is perfect, we can get some seats for the guests, your mother can organise an officiant, plus we can use the Ballroom for the reception as it is quite beautiful in there". "I will owl my mother about all of that. I agree we should get married in early March, once my mother has gotten back to us, we can organise sending out invitations, I will get mother to organise an appointment to get your dress along with your maid of honour and an appointment for my suit and my best man. If my mother meets with an officiant, then we can meet with them afterwards. After my mother gets back to me I will owl McGonagall about leaving the grounds for our appointments. I am sure she will be fine with it since she has agreed to the ones for your appointments at St Mungo's," Draco says. I give him a kiss and he smiles at me before grabbing my hand, leading us to bed.
