Chapter twenty-seven

Hermione's view 

About two months have past since my wedding to Draco, we are just finishing up our N.E.W.T.s before we have graduation in a week and a half. I am now 7 and a half months pregnant; my stomach is now bigger than a watermelon. I am waddling around the castle awkwardly and trying not to hex every person that looks at me weirdly or comments on how big I have gotten. Thankfully we only have a week and a half left then I will be moving my things into Malfoy Manor. Narcissa has been renovating Draco and my wing, to add a nursery, plus a room for playing when our children get older. She has also been trying to baby proof everything. She is the best mother-in law. 

I had to get my dress for graduation day along with my graduation robes. Ginny and I went down to Hogsmead on the weekend to give us a break from studying. My last exam is today which is my potions exam which is the hardest exam. I am not the greatest at potions but thankfully my husband is, so he stayed up with me studying last night before I fell asleep in his lap. We walk to the Great Hall where the exam is taking place. Draco gives me a kiss before we walk into the Great Hall. I take my seat and we begin the exam, two hours pass, and the exam is finished. Once we finish a bell strikes through the castle indicating the end of the final exam.  I then get out of my seat and head over to Draco grabbing his hand and walking out of the Hall. Ginny, Luna, Theo, Blaise, Harry, and Neville catch up with us after the exam and we all head down to Hogsmead to celebrate. 

We get to Hogsmead and head into the pub for a few drinks. I just have water since I am very much pregnant. I sit down and relax as the stress from exams is now over the only stress left is the stress about the babies. We found out last month that the babies were a boy and a girl. We were so excited with the news. We immediately began thinking of names, for the boy we thought of Scorpius Draco, and for the we thought Delilah Jean, since my first name didn't fit as her second name, and I thought Delilah Jean sounded prettier. We thought of Scorpius because Draco heard it someone and he liked it. I thought of Delilah, as it is pretty and reminds me of Narcissa's flower garden. We are giving Scorpius, Draco's first name as his middle name as Draco's parents used his father's first name as Draco's middle name, and I wanted to continue my middle name down to my daughter. Only a month and a half till they arrive if they arrive on their due date. I just hope they last till after we graduate, and I have moved into the Manor. 

After we all finish at Hogsmead we head back to the castle. We no longer have any more classes till graduation, but we have to organise the party and decorate for the graduation. We make our way through the Halls of the castle passing all of the portraits, when we come face to face with Snape he is there with a smile. "Good evening, Snape, not long now before we will leave you alone," I say. "Yes, I know only a week and a few days then you will be off on your next adventure, you have finished your 7 years here, you have gotten pregnant, and now married, soon to give birth to two beautiful and I'm sure very intelligent babies", Snape replies. We both smile at Snape before saying, "Thank you for everything you have done for us over the many years, looking after us, caring for us, protecting us, and being our professor." "Always", we say in unison. We walk through the door and move into our bedroom. I take Draco's hand in mine, and we sit on the bed talking about school, our favourite memories, and life after school, before we both drift off to sleep.
