Hermione's view

We graduated in the last week of June, which was three weeks ago, I have moved into Malfoy Manor. We had to renovated Draco's old room to make it slightly bigger for the both of us. We added a bathroom attached, a walk-in wardrobe that fits all of our clothing giving us more room in the actual bedroom part. The walk-in wardrobe has hanging for all of our clothing some draws as well as an area for shoes. In the place where the dresses use to be I have put in a powder table that is a small desk with draws and a mirror on top for my makeup, hair products and jewellery now that I am a Malfoy the jewellery is endless. Our bed was made bigger as the old one was not quite big enough. In the next room over is the twins nursery, it has two matching cots, with their names on the wall above their cots. There is a changing table on one side with a dresser full of nappies, onesies, and clothing. There are baby products on top of the dresser and two matching rocking chairs for Draco and I. The room next to that one is the twins playroom which is full of toys and books. At the end of the Hall there is a bathroom for easy access for when the twins arrive as the other bathroom is too far away. There is also a room across from mine and Draco's room which is a library bigger than the one that I had at Hogwarts in our dorm, it also has a desk at the end of the library and a couch next to it for me since I spend a lot of time in there.

I wake up as I find that the bed is soaking wet. I open my eyes and see there is a massive wet patch on the bed. I then roll over to find Draco still asleep, I softly nudge him awake and whisper into his ear, "Draco, I think my water just broke". As I say this his eyes snap open and he jumps out of bed. "Hermione, are you okay, where's the hospital bag?" Draco says rushing around the room. I just sit there giggling. His head snaps over to me saying, "what's so funny?" "Nothing, my waters just broke, I haven't felt any pain yet, so we are fine. Just calm down till the contractions start to happen," I laugh, "if you really want you can go tell your mother, just put some more clothing on first." He runs into the walk-in wardrobe coming out is some black jeans, my favourite shirt, and some vans. He has now taken some of my ideas about his clothing choices into consideration.

He runs out of the room heading towards his mother's room. I just sit there for a moment before getting us to go find some clothing. I pick out an emerald dress that is loose and comfortable, I throw some vans on as well. I grab the hospital bag that is in the walk-in wardrobe before exiting the room to find Draco and his mother standing there. "I am fine you guys, the contractions only just started. I was told to time them and when they become close together, constant, and are painful then it is time to go," I inform them. They both let out a big breath they had obviously been holding in.

After what feels like hours the contractions become closer together, they are now three minutes apart and becoming more painful. I look over at Draco saying, "I think it's time we head to St Mungo's. Narcissa could you please inform Harry, Ginny, Luna, Neville, Theo, and Blaise". Draco takes my hands pulling me up off the couch and we grab the hospital bag before heading to the floo to go wait for our babies arrivals.

When we arrive at St Mungo's our healer comes out as we inform the receptionist that I am in labour, and the contractions are close together. We are taken into a birthing room, when inside the doctor checks how far I am dilated. He looks up at me and says, "Well, they are ready to arrive now, you're fully dilated." I look up at Draco, who grabs my hand and kisses my forehead, "just breath you are doing amazing". I smile before the doctor, yells out for a midwife and some other healers to help deliver the twins, since I am having two. "Now, when I say I want you to push, push okay," the healer says. Hermione just nods. "Push". "Push". "One more push". Then there is crying as our baby boy is delivered. Draco moves over to cut the umbilical cord before the midwife takes him. The healer then says, "Push, push, push, push". "Okay, one more push and she will be out," he says. I push once more and then our baby girl is here, screaming louder than her brother. Draco cuts her umbilical cord, and the midwife takes her.

Hermione then has to continue pushing, as she needs to push the placenta out. She pushed twice and it was out. The healer checked everything was fine before, the midwives bought our twins over. "So, what are their names," the midwife says passing our daughter to me and our son to Hermione. "Well, our sons name is Scorpius Draco Malfoy, and our daughters name is Delilah Jean Malfoy," Hermione beams. "Congratulations, welcome to the world Scorpius and Delilah Malfoy. Happy Birthday," the healer says. They then all leave the room going to collect our family and friends that are out in the waiting room. The first ones to come in are Ginny, Harry, Theo, and Blaise. "Hello, godmother and godfathers, here are your godchildren," I say. They all look at us shocked at what we just told them. "Blaise and Theo you will be Scorpius Draco Malfoy's godfathers," Hermione says handing our son over to the boys. "And Ginny and Harry you will be Delilah Jean Malfoy's godparents," I say handing our daughter over to Harry and Ginny. They all start tearing up at the thought of being godparents.

After a little while they hand the twins over before going to get my mother, and Mr and Mrs Weasley. "Hello, grandma, grandpa and nana," I say to my mother and the Weasley's. "This is Scorpius Draco Malfoy, and that is Delilah Jean Malfoy," Hermione says as we hand over the twins. The day continues as friends and family come to see the twins. We are instructed to stay the night, but we are welcome to take the twins home in the morning after they have one more check over.

In the morning, the healer checks the twins over and then checks Hermione before giving us the okay to take our twins home. I pack up our things, and pick up Scorpius, whilst Hermione takes Delilah, and we head to the fireplace flooing out of St Mungo's and back to the Manor. Life as we know it would now be very different with twins.
