Chapter 19: Those ex's

The picture of the last chapter didn't show up so I'm putting it as this one. If it doesn't show up in this chapter either, well I'm not sure then.

1 year later sort of
Mia's POV:
It had been a almost a full year that Smith and I had been together now I had moved in with him, it wasn't to much drama as we lived next to each other. I just turned to my side and saw the peaceful sleeping giant beside me. I looked at my phone it was May the 2. "Wholly shit," I muttered getting out of bed quickly. I had accidentally woken Smith. "What," he said rolling over to face me. "Just go back to sleep and I will explain when you are fully awake." He just rolled out and onto the floor. "I am awake." I rolled my eyes and walked out letting him get up on his own. It was Liz's birthday on the 9th and I hadn't got her a present or even arranged to see her. Liz wasn't a morning person so I would call her a bit later. I laughed, perfect for Dan. "Now what was it," Smith said yawning.
"It's my best friends birthday on the 9th and I haven't gotten her anything."
"Well it's the weekend we can go look today." Smith opened a container of crickets for his gecko. I didn't mind having the gecko I just learnt to love the little guy, He even took a photo of me with it, the photo was actually quite cute. "You know I'm actual quite surprised that you didn't scream or anything at the fact that I had a gecko," Smith said, now shutting the container. "I'm not your average every day girl now am I."
"That is very true," Smith gave me a kiss and washed his hands. I made some coffee and got myself some breakfast. "What about me it isn't fair," Smith started.
"I'v had enough and I want my share can't you see," I continued.
"I wanna live." Then we said in unison, "But you just take more than you giiiiive." We both laughed at the same time. "Now I know why you went with me and not some other girl," I said.
"And what's that supposed to mean."
"Well there are some girls out there tones prettier than me."
"And those girl would only like me because I'm a youtuber but you like, no love me for who I am." I hugged Smith and kissed him and he just blew his morning breath right in my face. "Aww Smith that's gross and not funny." He laughed, "Your not exactly the flower smelling type either."
"Maybe that's because I don't eat flowers."
"Touché." He made himself some breakfast and sat beside me on the couch and we watched what ever news was on in the morning. We than went to the shops to find Liz a present. "So what exactly are we looking for, I assume it's not clothes if she is your best friend," Smith said.
"Something funny but still practical or just a plushy, plushies are always fun." We walked around for a bit looking for something when I found it. It was like just a big fluff ball with a 'scary' face. "Perfect," I said holding it up.
"Why that, it looks weird."
"Because it's cute and funny."
"That thing is not cute." Smith said. I rolled my eyes and went to turn around when a woman smacked into my face, well chest as she was shorter than me. "Sorry," I said holding my chin as the top of her head hit it. "Watch where you are going, next time."
"Hey have some gratitude, I said sorry."
"You still need to open your fucking eyes and look where your going." Smith out a hand on my shoulder. "Hey lady she said sorry leave it at that."
"Alex Smith," she said. I just looked at Smith confused. "Oh what you don't remember me after two years."
"Chloe, oh how could I forget."
"Smith what is going on," I asked actually a more confused that worried.
"Oh didn't he tell you about me I'm disappointed. Id watch out if I were you he is a real dick head."
"Does it look like I give a shit," I said crossing my arms.
"Whoa looks like you found your other half there Alex, even calls you Smith. Why wasn't I aloud to!" She almost screamed.
"Jesus Christ calm down Chloe, do you want the whole fucking store to hear you." Smith and Chloe were snapping snarky remarks back at each other. "Alright I have had enough, Chloe eat shit, he left you get over it and Alex shut up because I have had enough." He instantly shut up and looked really sad, I would call him Alex unless I was angry, being serious or it was something special. "He finally you came to your senses," Chloe said implying that I had just broke up with Smith. "Chloe I said eat shit and I have had enough of your bickering not of Smith." Chloe grumbled something under breath I heard a few, fuck you's and bitch's before she was out of ear shot.

Smith's POV: (been long enough)
I just starred at the ground Mia was scary when she was angry. People are probably laughing at me, me of all people scared of Mia, well I was. "What the hell was that Smith," she said not snapping but she was still pissed off. I sighed a little bit as she called me Smith so she wasn't totally angry. "She was a girlfriend I had 3 years ago, it didn't end so well." Mia took my hand and we paid for the plushy thing before I continued. "What happened," she asked calmly not so angry anymore. "Well she couldn't live with me as I was living with Ross and Trott but she still came over heaps even more than Katie did," I paused for a second and looked at Mia she was listening to me. "And she just wanted me for YouTube and not for me, she always wanted to be in a video or mentioned in a fan fiction but we said that we wouldn't allow the video and couldn't control the fan fiction part." Mia was still listening. "She got really pissed off and went to her mothers place for a bit, and when she came back Katie was over, they had never actually seen each other because Katie always came over on the weekend whereas Chloe came over on the weekdays. One weekend she came over and Katie was there I was just talking to her and laughing, Chloe came into the room and being the bitchy bitch that she is, she thought that I was ,cheating' on her with Katie, when we weren't technically dating anymore. Anyways, she slapped me and called a a cheating bastered and even when Trott came in and put an arm around Katie and everything she still called me a cheating bastered, she slapped me again and walked out. About a week later she came crawling back to me saying that I should take her back that I had to take her back I just said no and when she basically begged me to take her back I just showed her the door and had to push her out." Mia just looked like she was about to laugh. "What are you laughing about."
"What you said this morning, you said you loved me because I loved you for you, well Chloe was the reason you don't like her type of girl." I laughed as well. "I guess she is, well at least one good thing came out of it."
"At least."
"I still have no idea how the hell I put up with her for 2 years."
"Neither do I." Mia leaned into me and we kept walking.
