Chapter 35: Sad Face

Ross's POV:
Sophie didn't like the long distance thing and she also didn't want to move or ask me to move away from my friends and my job. I was talking to her over the phone. "I just don't think it's really going to work out well Ross, I'm sorry." I just listened in silence it was breaking my heart each time she said a word. "Look I tried to live with it but being away from you and having a full time job so I can't come see you it's really hard to, you know stay faithful." (I don't want to put I sobbed after every line that Ross speaks so just imagine that he is crying)
"I have managed perfectly fine so why can't you."
"I'm just not the one for full commitment and being away from you for months at a time didn't help at all I kinda......" I cut her off. "What fucked another guy already, cheated on me, what just because I didn't want to have sex the last time we saw each other."
"It's complicated Ross please understand."
"No I don't understand please explain why I have been able to keep it in my pants when guys are notorious for being unfaithful when away from their girlfriend, but yet this time it's the other way round."
"It's complicated as I just said, it will take me to long to explain."
"I don't give a flying fuck explain it to me now."
"As I said I'm not the one for full commitment and I just saw a really hot guy and he spoke to me and I kinda just got carried away."
"And forgot about me, I helped you, I fell in love with you, I was the one who came down to see you and call you, and this is how you repay me."
"Ross I'm sorry I really am I swear that guy is gone and I promise I won't do it again."
"No have you little fucker boy, I don't care anymore. I don't care."
"Ross please listen to me he is gone and I swear we only did it once so far."
"SO FAR, SO FUCKING FAR. I bet you have fucked him more than that and I can't and won't take you back you broke my heart and your not the one that's going to repair it I'm not stupid." Sophie didn't say anything after that but a few minutes later she did. "Your right I did fuck him more than once I fucked him so hard it was so much better than you could have ever done, I hate you."
"You shouldn't be hating me you're the one that 2 minutes before were trying to get me to take you back."
"You know what I'm going to fuck him right now because your being such a dick to me I'm also going to get him to drive down and kick you so hard in the dick that you can never have children ever again or it hurts every time you try to have sex with another woman."
"Go ahead fuck your little fucker boy see if I care, my heart wasn't just slowly crushed into nothingness. I bet yours wasn't I bet yours was as cold as ice and nothing crushes it, it just steals the life off the ones it crushes." Sophie hung up on me. I put my phone down and cried. Archie muzzled my leg and whimpered, he knew I was feeling pain. "I'm ok Arch just a bit upset." Oscar came up to me as well and whimpered he knew I was lying and really I was dying inside. I put my head on the table and cried. I loved Sophie she seemed like such a nice girl like she wouldn't do anything like that, I was proven wrong.

Mia's POV:
Smith was so happy this morning and it was getting slightly annoying. "Smith stop being so happy people are going to think we did something."
"And I would be lying if I said we didn't," he kissed my cheek and I rolled my eyes. I finished off my breakfast and went to see if Ross was up to see if he would like me to walk his dogs for him.

I knocked on the door three times before he actually came to the door. "Heeeeeeeeey.............are you ok," I dragged out the hey when I saw he had puffy eyes like he had just been crying and was holding a tissue. "No not really but I don't want to talk about it."
"I won't bother you about it then, I just wanted to know if you wanted me to take your dogs for a walk I have nothing else to do today and it looks like you don't want to do anything today but eat ice cream and curl up on the couch."
"Nar it's alright I will come with you I need to get h....it off my mind anyways." I started to think it was Sophie that made him cry, I hope not she was really nice.

We got to the dog park and just let Archie and Oscar run around while Ross and I sat on the bench. I heard silent sobs from Ross again. "Hey it's alright, well sort of depending on what happened."
"Promise you won't go rip off someone head when I tell you this." Oh god it was Sophie. "Promise, it will be hard but I promise." He took a deep breath and sat back. "Ok, Sophie called me this morning and told me that she didn't want to be together any more, because of the long distance. I could deal with that but to top it all off she said that she had been cheating on me the whole time from when I last saw her till now and she even had the never to act like that guy meant nothing to her but yet I did. I'm not really angry at him or anything he probably had no idea, I'm angry at her for doing that." Ross's phone started ringing and it was an unknown number so he put it on speaker, just because he didn't mind if I heard. "Hello is this Ross," a voice said.
"Yes."
"You are Sophie's boyfriend right."
"Was and never want to be again, why?" I was curious at who was calling and now, how did he know Ross and how did he know that he WAS Sophie's boyfriend. "I'm Nathan I'm the guy that Sophie was cheating on you with."
"Yeah."
"I swear man I didn't know."
"It's ok I wasn't pissed at you I had a feeling you didn't even know."
"When I found out that I had been helping someone cheat I dumped her, she didn't even cry." Heartless bitch.
"Her heart is ice cold, thanks man have a good day."
"You too." Ross hung up and looked at me, I smiled. "Well there you go the heartless falls." I laughed. "Well at least that guy had a brain and left her."
"Shame though she was so nice, well seemed to be." I laughed and gave Ross a hug, he really needed it. "All better now."
"After one of your hugs defiantly." We got up to go find Archie and Oscar then go back home and then to Yog tower.
