Author's POV:

The birds chirped sitting on the lush green trees ready to invite the morning with their harmonious music.

Those little sweet things disturbed Diya that she stirred on the bed. It took her a lot of time to fall asleep last night. The things she need to digest and understand, everything is a lot in her plate.

She looked at the large metal clock on the wall to see the clock striking 4:16AM. She woke up with a jolt and looked around her. That looked so familiar yet unfamiliar to her.

Waking in the Palace of Arka for the first time is a bit unnatural for her.

She looked at her husband and he looked so innocent. Who believes that the person sleeping there without the care of the world has suffered a lot and is one of the bravest souls she have ever seen.

His light curls are falling over his eyes and his curly lashes almost kissed his crease.

Diya set her feet on the ground and prayed the mother earth first.

Oh dear Earth, hope no blood shred happens with me being with Queen here. The right rule and the bad shall be punished.

It's like the Nature approves her innocent talk. A gush of wind passed her when she walked into the huge balcony.

She breathed the fresh air and looked at the dense trees around. The intense sounds of the crickets made her close her eyes and feel them.

The words from the last night suddenly striked her mind. Of all, she don't wanna trust Karthik with this matter. She can never expect that little kid to be so vile.

You may trust anyone of them and get betrayed but don't ever trust VIHAAN AURORA. He is the most cunning person on this earth.

Those words are still ringing in her ears.

" How can a 7 year old boy be sly?" Diya thought. Only if she know what of a malicious little creature he can be.

The tring of the alarm echoed in the whole chamber which disturbed Karthik's sleep. He found it annoying and Diya is tensed that he got a peaceful sleep after long time which is ruined by the alarm.

He harshly tapped on the alarm and the sound turned off. Karthik woke up with his hair all over his face.

That is enough for Diya to laugh her stomach out. He looked like he rolled in the hay for few days continuously. But listening to Diya's laugh morning itself is like a dulcet to Karthik. A contagious smile crawled on his very lips with his eyes still closed.

" What's the time?" He asked in his groggy voice.

" 4:39AM." Diya said walking towards him. His sleep vanished as soon as he heard what she said.

" Fuck!" He muttered looking at her serene face.

Diya was about to ask what's the matter but the door knock disturbed them.

Diya walked and opened it to see Virana standing there all ready in her glorious royal outfit.

" What's the princess doing here this early?" Diya frowned.

" I think my brother didn't say you anything my dear Queen but you are supposed to have a really special bath today and my brother should take care of that." Virana winked at Karthik he sighed nodding his head at Diya.

She handed him the bowl she came with and ran away from there. Karthik just looked at her like that. The serene sound of those anklets is trying to over power the calmness of this dark rays. Her chuckles across the large corridors are like jingles playing during the festive seasons.
