Improvement
"Ace.. you can really feel something now?" Zemn asked.
I did not answer him.
"You should call your doctor" he said. I stopped in front of my car and turned to him.
"I'm not calling him" I said and opened the door of my car.
"Huh? Your doctor is a woman" natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.
"You're seeing a guy doctor? Hmm.. that's new" sabi niya at sumakay sa kotse ko. Hindi ko na pinansin ang sinabi niya.
"Which hotel should I drop you?" I asked.
"Hotel? I don't have money."
"Which hotel" I asked again.
"I said I don't have money!"
"And so?"
"I'll be staying at your house. Your huge house." he then laughed.
"You'll be cleaning the house then" I said, smirking.
"What? But—"
"Shut it" and he never said a word after that.
It was a long drive. I stopped the car in front of my house. When I looked at my side, there I saw the bastard sleeping. I went out of the car and slammed the door.
I walked towards the gate when a hand held my elbow. I was quick to jerk his hand off.
"What are you doing here" I asked. I heard Zemn's footsteps behind me.
"Don't touch her." sabi ni Zemn.
Binalingan niya si Zemn at saka ako binitawan. Nangunot ang noo ko nang makita si Tiger sa tabi niya. Nakalabas ang dila niya na tila ang saya niya.
"Why are you with my dog?" I asked.
"We ran a bit" seryosong sagot niya.
"Why are you here?"
"I wanna talk to you" he honestly answered.
"Why do you wanna talk to her?" singit ni Zemn.
"He's a doctor" ako na ang sumagot at hinawakan ang braso ni Sean at hinila papalayo kay Zemn.
"Who was that?" agad na tanong ni Sean.
My eyebrows shot up.
"You came here to ask me that?" I said. Nag-iwas naman siya ng tingin at may inabot sakin.
"I came to give you this" It was the whistle necklace. Tahimik ko itong kinuha at agad na sinuot.
"Do you remember who gave you that necklace?" he whispered.
"No." sagot ko. Yumuko naman siya at tumango.
"I hope you remember him. When you do, please call me." he said and went to his car. Nang makaalis siya saka naman lumapit si Zemn.
"What did he say? Did you talk about your condition?" tanong niya.
"Shut up" sabi ko at pumasok na

Nakahiga na ako at nakatulala sa kisame nang naalala ko ang nangyari sa meeting. Hindi ko alam basta iniisip ko ang lalaking isa sa mga nagsasalita sa unahan. He was wearing a cap like he was hiding his face. I feel like I know him even though it was our first meeting.
Kinaumagahan, nagising ako sa ingay ng phone ko. It was a call from the IISS. Agad ko naman itong sinagot.
"Hello. Is this Captain Majesty's number?" an unfamiliar voice said.
"Yeah" antok kong sagot.
"The department heads are expecting you alongside with your group to be in the IISS building tomorrow."
"And why?" I asked.
"It will be discussed tomorrow. That's all." sabi nito bago pinatay ang tawag.
Hindi pa ako nakakalabas ng kwarto ko nang may kumatok.
"Did you receive a call?" Zemn asked.
"Mm-hm" sagot ko habang inaayos ang hinigaan ko.
"I think we will be punished tomorrow," walang ganang sabi niya.
"As if I care" sabi ko at lumabas.
"What about the kids?" tanong niya pa. Tumigil ako sa paglalakad at hinarap siya.
"They aren't kids anymore. They can deal with it." I said and went to check on Tiger. Nang makitang tulog siya ay dumiretso akong kusina.
"Heartless.. as expected" sabi niya bago umupo.
Naglapag ng pagkain si Alexia sa mesa and I saw how Zemn winked at her. Hindi naman siya pinansin ni Alexia.
"Wow! You have a cute cook, huh?" sabi niya habang sinusundan ng tingin ang papalayong si Alexia.
"Don't you dare" sabi ko at nagsimulang kumain.
"What? I won't talk to her, then. If that's what you're jealous about." he then laughed.
"Jealous? What's that? Chocolate?" I said. He just rolled his eyes.
Nagpatuloy kami sa pagkain. Nang matapos ay napagpasyahan kong tumawag sa doktor ko.
"Dr. Sophie.. It's me, Az" panimula ko.
"Oh, hello! It's been a while. So, how are you? Any improvements?" masiglang sabi niya.
"I don't know if this is an improvement but I know how it feels to be hurt." sabi ko at nagulat nang sumigaw siya.
"Ahh! That's great! Oh my.. at last! But you know what? I don't actually know if that's a good sign.. but at least, you can feel something now." masayang sabi niya.
"I can also feel the strong feeling of— I don't know how to say it." hirap kong sabi.
"You can give me a situation" suhestiyon niya.
"A girl handed me the key but she intentionally dropped it when I was about to take it. And I feel like I wanna hurt her, something like that" paliwanag ko.
"Ahh, that's anger" walang ganang sabi niya.
"Anger?" ulit ko.
"Hmm, maybe because of the workshops you're in for how many years that helped develop your feelings. Is that all?"
"Yeah"
"Just call me if you feel something again"
"Yeah, I will" sabi ko at binaba ang tawag.
