"Mom are we there yet?"

Can you ask as they drove on route 14, at 16 years old she was so easily bored distracted and since recently very aggressive?

"No, not yet but we will be there soon we're going to oak to visit my best friend Emily it will be fun besides that's where I grew up."

Autumn said trying to lighten the mood

"Wow, fantastic."

Camille said sarcastically as Autumn sighed. Camille was so difficult and distant that she wondered if she was the same child she raised all along. Still seeing Emily again with brighten her mood she wasn't so sure how she felt about seeing "him" though. I know he must have been married with three children and a nice white picket fence a yard and a wife who was very lucky enough to receive every night what she got on that one forsaken night of pleasure and bliss...

"Mom we're here the place looks like Beverly hills I thought it would look more like Smallville."

Camille said as Autumn laughed

"This isn't the theatrics this is real life Camille and look ahead that's where she lives."

Autumn said as Camille looked up

"Who?"

"My best friend Emily and her brother."

Autumn said as she parked her silver tundra and took Camille's hand.

"You are going to like it here plus Emily is such a party freak so I'm sure the two of you will get along just fine."

Autumn said as commute smiled. Just then Emily keeps running up to them.

"Oh my, God' Autumn Miller is that you?"

Emily said as you rushed up the Autumn and hugged her and then turned towards Camille.

"And who might this be?"

Emily asked as Autumn touched Camille on her shoulders.

"This is my daughter Camille. Camille, Emily."

Autumn said as Emily looked at her shocked.

"Well, this is quite a surprise. Anyways why don't you two come inside and wash up I have got some food and cake inside."

Emily said to Camille as she walked inside Camille made her way inside as awesome went back to the SUV to remove their suitcase.

"Okay awesome why didn't you tell me you had my niece?"

Emily asked angrily as Autumn looked at her friend amused.

"Who said she was your niece?"

Autumn's asked as Emily looked at her.

"I'm not stupid she's about 16 and she looks just like her father, and me."

Emily said as Autumn sighed

"Yeah, she's her father's daughter."

Autumn said as Camille came out to the patio.

"Why don't we all go inside and wash up and get some cake and lemonade?"

Emily suggested as Camille held her head and grimaced.

"Cam are you okay?"

Autumn asked Camille as she stilled and held her head.

"It will pass."

Camille said as she went to the bathroom to wash up Emily looked at her friend.

"So spill the beans. What happened between you and Logan?"

Emily asked as Autumn looked away.

"It doesn't matter that was 16 years ago."

Autumn said as Camille's held her hand.

"Autumn it does matter she'll soon go through the change and there's also the fact that she's an alpha's daughter."

Emily said. she was a Beta female in a pack without a Luna. But seeing Camille and Autumn back here she knew that was going to change.

"You have to tell him about Camille."

Emily said as Autumn took a slice of the cake.

"It's a small town, I can't avoid Mr tall dark and lethal forever can I now?"

Autumn said as Emily swallowed.

"So how long are you planning to stay?"

Emily asked as Autumn looked away.

"Not sure yet I needed a break from city life. I felt homesick and Camille needs a break too. There is just something different about her."

Autumn said ruefully as Emily considered telling her the big secret. That's what most likely scare her away. Besides, it wasn't her place to tell her it was Autumn's and Logan's.

"So does Logan still live here?"

Autumn asked as Emily nodded. Feeling nervous she rubbed her hands into her dress.

"Yeah, it still has his property too he has other properties where he houses his Miss.."

Okay, Emily started as she realized that talking about Logan's s*x life with the mother of his child was far from appropriate.

"It's all right I didn't expect Logan to live like a nun while I was gone, he's a man with needs after all."

Autumn said as she drank more of the lemonade provided. Then Camille came out.

"Ahm... I'm not sure what to call you is it okay if I call you auntie Emily?"

Camila acts as if Emily could feel the tears well up in her eyes.

"Please do."

Emily said as she motioned her to sit down absent mainly Emma's fingers running through Camille's hair.

"Thank you for the cake and lemonade. I'm feeling much better now."

Camille said as Emily continued to stare at her.

"Hey, is that a black jaguar coming up the road?"

Camille asked as Emily stood up

"Oh, that's just your fa..."

Emily started as you watch Autumn shake her head profusely.

"My brother."

She quickly amended as Camille went to the steps to see him.

"Em, maybe I should leave?"

Autumn said nervously as Emily shook her head.

"No Autumn, no more running
I can assure you that given the circumstances you've been back in Oaks, is definitely for good."

Emily said that she took off the pitcher of lemonade and left. The speaker emerged from the Jaguar... muscular sleek, powerful, and lethal were all the adjectives that came to mind when Autumn saw him. Logan was even more devastating than when she first met him.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
