39.Sisters Reunited💫

Alpha Daniels finally handed back the reins of control for the pack to his son Alpha Tyler. Tyler had proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was capable of running the Crescent Pack along with his mate Summer and their three wonderful children Essence, Cameron, and Theodore.

Alpha Tyler now ruled the pack with compassion and logic, and the wolves of the pack all rejoice at his success. They were currently on their way to a pack Meer, hoisted by Alpha Logan and his Luna Autumn.

"Darling are you ready?"

Alpha Tyler called out as Summer fixed a bow tie on Cameron's shirt.

"Soon...just putting on the finishing touches on the little ones."

Summer said as Tyler came into the room and lifted Theodore into his arms. At one year old, Theodore was naturally playful and curious and giggled in delight at his father's attention.

"Let's go, mate."

Tyler called out as they all loaded into his SUV.

Logan's pack was one of the most beautiful places Summer had ever been to. It was completely self-sufficient with a river flowing through the valley, where they had settled.

As soon as the car stopped, Summer when around and let Cameron and Essence out of their booster seats, while Alpha Tyler took little Theodore into his arms. A couple walked up to them and greeted them.

"Welcome to our pack. It's very nice to finally meet you. I'm Alpha Logan and this is mate Autumn. This is my Beta Rome mate to my daughter Camille. And this little one in my arms is my son Kyle. And last but not least, we have my sister Emily and her mate Quinn and their twin children, Christian and Chloe. And that is the whole Brady bunch."

Alpha Logan said as Autumn tried to remember the names of all the persons she had just been introduced to.

"Don't worry about it. I have trouble remembering all the names too."

Autumn said as Summer looked at her wondering how it was that she knew, that that was what she thinking. Maybe that was exactly what made them twins. All the others had gone inside and left Autumn and Summer together.

"You know, I feel an instant connection to you. Not too long ago, I had to bury my adopted sister, Caitlyn and I feel as if I lost a part of myself at her funeral."

Summer said as Autumn nodded in understanding.

"I know what it's like, losing someone. I'm just so glad that I was adopted into a good family, one where I was able to meet Logan, the love of my life."

Autumn said as she smiled at Summer.

"My life has been a little more complicated than that. I was adopted into a nice pack, then I was rejected by my mate and left the pack for 4 years. At that time, I gave birth to Essence, I joined a new pack and everything was fine until Tyler's pack was in danger and I knew I had to go back to help. I guess I could abandon him in his time of need."

Summer said as Autumn nodded. She understood exactly what Summer couldn't say.

"Love is like that. It makes us do crazy things. I was also adopted by a human family. I learned of werewolves when Emily shifted for the first time in front of me. I was scared sh*tless."

Autumn said as Logan walked up to her.

"Hey, hun."

Logan said as he bent to kiss her on the lips.

"Hey baby, where is Kye?"

Autumn asked as he pointed towards Emil and Quinn, who had laid out some blankets under a tree and was in the process of entertaining all five of their children.

"Have you met Summer?"

Autumn asked as Logan looked at Summer.

"I have, briefly this morning when she greeted us. But it's so scary how much you two look alike. You look like sisters, twins even."

Logan commented as Tyler remembered something his father had told him when he was handing over the pack. He had detailed her birth, and he had been told that Rose had not one, but two children.

"You could be."

Tyler said as both Summer and Autumn looked at each other.

"There's only one way to find out."

Summer and Autumn made their way to Alpha Daniels' Office.

"I think we deserve an explanation Alpha."

Summer said as Alpha Daniels motioned them inside to have a seat Gathered in his office were Luna Rose, Summer, Tyler, Autumn, and Logan.

"Yes, you do. As you partially know Summer, is that your mother was named Rose and later on we found out that your father was Rouge Alpha Dylan. The day your mother crossed over into our lands, she gave birth to you and your sister, twins. We were able to get Beta Ryans and his mate Cassandra to adopt you Summer as you had a wolf. It wasn't so easy with Autumn, as she was born without a wolf. So we thought it was probably best if Autumn grew up in the human world, away from wolves. Both for your safety and hers."

Alpha Dylan said as both Summer and Autumn tried to process the information they had just received.

"That doesn't matter. I don't care about you not having a wolf, all that matters is that we are together and no one will ever tear us apart again."

Summer said as Autumn found herself quite agreeing with her sister. Great minds indeed do think alike. They all left Alpha Daniels's office and gather outside for the bonfire that was happening that night. Autumn and Summer sat next to each other with Alpha Logan and Alpha Tyler on either side.

"We have sure come a far way, haven't we? We finally have a complete family. While we hold dear all those that we have lost, we now have each other to hold."

Summer said as she played in Essence's hair and watched Cameron playing with Tyler while Theodore took a nap in his arms.

"Yes, we have."

Summer agreed as she looked at Autumn. Just then, Emily came out to join them, with Quinn who had both Christian and Chloe in his arms, ready to join in the festivities.

"Hey love, aren't they just adorable?"

Autumn asked Summer as Summer found herself agreeing with him. It seemed that both packs are maintaining the tradition of having multiples.

"Autumn, I always wanted to ask, don't take this the wrong way, but don't you feel left out. I have a wolf and you don't, how can you not be hateful toward me? Who's to tell this wasn't because of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome?"

Summer asked as Autumn smiled.

"You are my twin sister. I don't care if you are a wolf, vampire, human, or unicorn. The only thing that matters to me is that you are alive, healthy, and happy."

Autumn said as she walked over to her sister and hugged her.

"No matter, we did well, Autumn. We have our children, we have our mates, and from now until forever we have each other."

Summer said as they embraced each other again. Their journey was now completed. It was time to pass the mantle...into the future.
