36.The Mate Hunt Part II💫

On instinct Logan covered Autumn with his body, blocking Kahlil's attack, and brushed him off. The attack was felt through Autumn's entire body as Logan absorbed most of it. Just then the females rushed up to Autumn, separating her from Logan. Emily Camille and Simone formed a family kill circle around her.

"Protect her."

Logan said as he transformed into a giant redback wolf. His thighs were the size of trucks and his full wolfish features were pronounced but her Logan was still in there somewhere. You look like something in her nightmares and she trembles and took a step back. Look at noises her resistance and walked up to her.

'There's no need to fear me Autumn you are my mate whether I'm human or wolf'

Logan said into her mind as Autumn walked up to him and ran her fingers along his back.

"The Luna of the Redback pack has no reason to fear her mate."

Autumn said as Logan nuzzled his nose into her side.

"You f* cking b*tch."

Kahlil said as he lunged for Autumn but Logan was quicker, kicking him out of her way in midair. Logan watched as the black wolf landed on his side and struggled to get to his feet.

"I have not challenged you."

Kahlil said trying to stick to his point.

"You tried to touch my mate, I told you she's mine and mine alone."

Logan said as Kahlil sneered.

"The mate hunt will begin soon, she will belong to whoever is fast enough to catch her. Then I'll rip your brat from her stomach and replace it with mine."

Kahlil said as Logan let out a string of profanities in the air. Just then Emily and Camille appeared at Autumn's side.

"Get ready Autumn, the hunt will be on in three...two...one...run Autumn run!"

Emily yelled as both Emily, Autumn, and Camille started to run. There was silence as Autumn found herself running through Central Park for her virtue, or whatever was left of it. She watched as Camille and Emily tried to protect her from the left and the right respectfully. Out of nowhere, a big black wolf, who Autumn recognized as Jack, jumped on Emily and tried to pin her down to the ground.

" Emily."

Autumn cried as Emily struggled beneath a 250lbs of a werewolf.

"Forget about me Autumn, run!"

Emily screamed as Autumn continued running as she watched a brown wolf pin, Camille, that must have been Nathan she thought as she continued running with Camille. She watched as Nathan lunged for Camille and Camille stopped and ran straight into him. Out of nowhere, Rome appeared and helped her to subdue him. She continued running until she ran into someone with a black coat and yellow eyes. At first, she thought it was Logan until the wolf made a lunge for her throat. He lift her until she was dangling by her feet.

"A human as Alpha female, how very pathetic."

Kahlil said as his grip tighten, around her neck.

"And she carries the Alpha's child, a half-breed as alpha, that's so pathetic, it's laughable. I shall rip that brat from your stomach, the child inside my Sharon will be strong enough to subdue both packs, even Logan. Soon I will get you out of the way."

Kahlil said as he lunged for the kill. He tried to cut the air out of her body. Just then something happen, something big charged into him. Logan wrapped his hand around Autumn to prevent her from falling and got up and lunged for Kahlil.

"This ends now Kahlil."

Logan said as he launched for him. Logan and Kahlil faced off and sneered, growled, and bit at each other. Then call a little bit at Logan's shoulder and also watched as blood flowed from the area.

"Logan!"

Autumn screamed as she tried to rush forward to get to Logan, but strong arms held her back.

"What the h*ll do you think you're doing Autumn, do you want to get yourself killed?"

Her son-in-law asked as he held her back.

"I'm alpha female, I have every right."

Autumn said as Rome held her back.

"But I'm the Beta. I protect what is the Alpha's and that is you, so sit your @ss down."

Rome said as he squared off with Autumn and watched as she got upset with him.

"Listen to me that is my mate and I will protect my mate. That is my job."

Autumn yelled as Rome smiled at her.

"Well take a look at your mate, and tell me whether or not you think he still needs protecting."

Rome said as Autumn turned her attention back to Logan. Logan had Kahlil subdued beneath his feet.

"Yield!"

Logan ordered as Kahlil struggled beneath him and tried to ignore his command.

"Yield!!"

Logan ordered again as he felt him struggle and smiled knowing that he will never be able to hurt his family again. He stilled and averted his eyes and looked anywhere else.

"Yes, Alpha."

They all said defeatedly, as Jack, Nathan, Sharon, and Nicole all bowed down in front of Logan. The battle was won.

"Now, you all get out of my sight, your territory is mine and I give you your life granted that you follow my every command. Is that clear?"

He asks the five of them as they all muttered

"Yes."

Logan turned to them with anger in his eyes.

"Yes, what?"

He asked as they bent and kept their eyes on the ground.

"Yes, Alpha."

They all said as Logan smiled triumphantly.
