A Day With The Yuheng (AeQing)

"Name your price. You deserve that much."

I was put in quite the spot. I was expecting them to give me some kind of reward, but she had to ask for it in public, so now I have to say what I want, and all of Liyue would know what it was.

"Oh well, it's all or nothing."

I took a deep breath... And stated my price.

"A Day with the Yuheng. That is my wish."

"Wh-what?!" She stuttered. Now this is a rarity. The Yuheng herself, stuttering out of embarrassment.

"Oho... How bold of you. Very well, if Keqing has no objections?" Ningguang said, as all eyes became fixated on Keqing.

"N-no, I do not. If that is what you want, then i have no objections."

It was the next day, and i was internally freaking out. I had planned out what we were going to do today, and it took a lot of convincing for Paimon to leave me alone for the day.

After waiting at our agreed upon meeting spot, she eventually arrived.

"My apologies for being late. I had something to finish up first."

"It's fine, shall we go now?"

"Of course. So, what are we doing exactly?"

"Well, i just wanted to spend a day with you. Maybe get to know you better."

She raised her eyebrows, surprised that i had made such a request. I don't blame her, since i could've asked for nearly anything, and i decided to asked her to spend time with me.

"I see... But couldn't you've just ask me that in private?"

"If i did, you would've probably refused."

"Urk... I won't deny that."

"I thought so. Anyways, let's go!" I said, as i grabbed her hand and began quickening my pace.

We started off by going to Wanmin's Restaurant, since the both of us didn't have lunch yet. After we arrived, we took our seats, before i noticed that Keqing's face was noticably red.

"Hey, Keqing? Is everything alright?"

"Nothing! It's just, can you let go now?" She said while pointing at our hands.

"O-oh, right!" I said, letting go of my grip on her hand. And yet, the feeling of warmth from her hand still lingers on my hand.

"I don't know why, but a part of me wishes i could hold her hand for a little longer..."

We sat there in silence, neither of us exchanging any words to each other. After a little while, Xiangling approached our table.

"Hello Aether! What can I get for you?"

"Hello Xiangling, I'll have a Satisfying Salad."

"Alright, and the Yuheng?" She asked her, yet she didn't answer. Looking at her, she was just looking blankly at the ground. Perhaps she was thinking about something?

"Keqing?" No response.

"Keqing?!" I said, slightly raising my voice. Thankfully, that seemed to be enough to snap her back into reality.
