Maki stood up, red eyes flashing. "I'm gonna go and murder the Ultime godamn Atua Student Council,"
Kaede grabbed her ankle just in time to stop her. "That's not what Kaito would want. We'll confront them in the morning. No need to be so brash so quickly."
"Can you stop talking like I'm already dead?" Kaito's muffled voice came from behind the thick covers.
"You shut up and rest!" Maki snapped."Maki is right," Shuichi stretched his arms and yawned. "We better go to sleep. We've got a really big day tomorrow, having to deal with everything Angie's going to throw at us,"
Everybody nodded in agreement and slowly dispersed. Kaede glanced at Maki, who was still sitting steadfastly at Kaito's side. She glared at Kaede. "I'm staying here tonight," she muttered, pointing at the mound of pillows the Ultimate Astronaut was buried under. "I need to make sure he's alright."
Kaede nodded and left the room, trying to blink the sleepiness out of her eyes as she navigated the dark labyrinth of the Ultimate Academy to find her room.

The next morning...
The clash of opinions between the two illegitimate Ultimate School Councils seemed to have grown during the night. Angie was glaring at Korekiyo, seemingly having (correctly) singled him out as the perpetrator of the Athena Student Council's origin. None of the members of the Atua Student Council seemed to be aware of Kokichi 's conversating with Kaede and the rest of the Athena Student Council last night, nor did they seem aware that the Ultimate Supreme Leader had betrayed them, in a way.
Kaede still couldn't wrap her head around what had happened last night? Why had Kokichi actively come to help them? Did he want something in return in the future? Was it all part of an elaborate prank of his? Or was he ,em>genuinely trying to help them?
Though Kaede liked to think the best of people, she could easily rule out the third possibility. This was Kokichi Oma they were talking about, after all. Niceness just wasn't in his vocabulary.
It had been a good thing that Kiyo had experience in botany, though. Otherwise, all of them would just be running around trying to kill Kokichi and screaming in confusion as Kaito slowly died from all the stress his immune system was being put under. He was currently fast asleep in his room, his condition seemingly improved. So there was another problem to be addressed.
A large shiny round flashback light was currently pressed into Shuichi's hand, he having found it in the Computer Room, situated on the fourth floor. The ongoing battle between the two student councils was currently about that.
"The flashback is dangerous!" Angie demanded, not looking very calm and smiley anymore. "We need to create a paradise here, so we need to get rid of all of our greed and longing to leave to the outside world! The flashback light will just stray you from that objective! It isn't Atua's will! You're being selfish and stupid! If you could only let go of all of your greed and follow the instructions of the Atua Student Council, we could all live peacefully!"
Maki's blood red eyes flashed for the fifty-somethingish time since all of this Council mess had started. "We're being selfish? You woke up one morning and decided, 'You know what, I'm going to form a cult revolving around my patron god and erase any hopes of anyone ever getting out of this place! Then, I'll form a dictatorship with a bunch of illogical rules and expect everyone to follow that. Sure, everyone will love my idea!'. That is the most selfish thing I have ever heard. Do you want to die?"
